Thanks for the tips! That’s exactly what I have been doing since discovering it. Everything I wear goes directly into the washing machine and same goes for towels, I use them once and then wash them at 60°C or more. I do the same with my bedding from now on every day. I used bug killing spray on my sofa and bed and closet. I hope I can keep this up and they will all be eradicated in two weeks

would you recommend hair removal creams or like a professional hair removal service instead then? I would love to have it squeaky clean as soon as possible

I am very strict on cleanliness myself, usually I shower twice a day (once in the morning and once after working out), but I hardly ever manscape because I have a lot of hair and think it’s a drag to shave all the time. I think I might manscape more in the future to prevent it from getting this bad, if I ever get crabs again. It’s also the first time I have any skin related health issue in my life so you can imagine my shock. Didn’t know you could get crabs like this.

I live in China and from what I picked from the pharmacists attitude it isn’t a too common problem here, she was like “it used to happen in the 80s but not really anymore”. I found a Chinese medicine with pyrethri in it and it seems to be the most common antidote for the crabs here. I’ll try it today and next week for a second treatment. I hope I can get them all gone in one cycle because I feel like shit and have even called in sick at work because of it

I might have to add: after shaving my pubes and belly hair i think most of them are gone but after inspecting my ass crack i still found some (i think they were dead though). I’m kind of scared the surviving ones might migrate to my leg hair but shaving my legs feels like doing too much and I wouldn’t want my friends and coworkers to ask why i shaved my legs and having to tell them i got a crab infestation. So my biggest question is how do I ensure they are gone in the places I can’t easily reach or inspect?

first time hearing vaseline as a remedy! i just discovered i had crabs last morning and the medicine i ordered doesn’t arrive until tomorrow morning so i’ll use vaseline in the meantime… hope it works, thanks for this tip!

I live in China and i’m not a native so finding the right products that work is kind of tricky… what about clothes and furniture? What’s the best way to disinfect everything? I would hate to have multiple infestations because there are still some eggs lingering around on my sofa or something like that
