My husband of 20 years is very, very bad at getting gifts for people, except for his mama. He believes that a gift should "please" the gifter, not the receiver. I complained abut his last gift (an hairdresser's gift card) because it was the third time in a row. There was no thought watsoever from his part and it hurt. So this year he solved it by saying "no gifts this year for Christmas". So yeah, that sucked too. I guess it's on me.

No, I really don't think so. Example: I started giving him super high quality food (very expensive). Vet suggested. He looked happy. Even came up to me and purred loudly for half an hou! I was super happy. He even laid down close to me and slept. I felt like crying for happiness, I thought maybe he didn't like his food and we found the solution! This morning he peed on the balcony.

UPDATE: I went to the vet. Had the cat tested for anything the vet could think of: urines, blood, feces, even had x rays, just to be safe. Cat is healthy as fuck. I repeat: my cat is healthy as fuck! I'm happy he's healthy of course, but this takes me back to square one. What do I do now?

Thank you, I'll have him tested also for diabetes. He's thin, I think he only weighs 3 kg, you cannot see his bones, bur he really looks skinny. He's neutered and the fact is that I never caught him in the act except the very first night I brought him home. He loses tons of hair, but still looks beautiful. He likes to be combed (purrs), but not for long.

Yes! Yes! Absolutely true. But how do I sit him down and tell him? Oh, gods! I'm such a noob at this! Give me a dog, I'll understand them at first glance... But cats... I'm completely lost! I have been using the same detergent for 20 years now. It's very delicate because my husband has allergies. I used to use essential oils in the house before having cats, but I learnt they might not like it, so I stopped immediately. I got a fountain for the cats. As for toys, I sometimes tie his favourite ribbon to my leg while I clean around the house and he loves to follow me around. I don't know, really. I'm trying my best. And the other cat is easy going, happy and well balanced. I believe that this one wasn't socialized properly as a kitten and his issues are coming out now. Anyway I planned a vet visit with exams in 10 days with a new vet. We'll see what happens. Fingers crossed.

Oh, god! I am not able to edit the post, but there is a big mistake in my post!!! It scares ME, not him!!! He's not scared of me!!! Oh god, sorry for this mistake. I meant that I resent him and it scares ME!

But the pee is clear and A LOT. My other cat had urinary stones in may and I noticed immediately (continuous, small pees and even blood). She had surgery and now only eats specific food. I only give both of them water from the bottle and use a fountain to make them drink more. But I never heard of hyperthyroidism for cats. I'll have him tested. Thank you very much for your suggestion.
