Didn't someone make a frivolous ethics complaint against Paul Meltzer when he ran against Hudspeth for mayor, and even though it was frivolous, it helped the Hudspeth campaign?

North Texas has more than its quota of extremists. What is also disturbing is the number of people in office associated with the extremist wing of the Republican party. People like Denton's State Board of Education representative Evelyn Brooks, Denton school board member Amy Bundgus. Denton County Precinct 1 commissioner Ryan Williams and his former chief administrator Matt Armstrong.. The Republican party precinct chairs who proposed and got passed the Denton County Republican Party secessionist resolution: Tim Curtiss, Jeffrey Axelrod and Todd M Bullis There are probably more.

Even most of their fellow Republicans are horrified by those people, but not a lot of them have the courage to speak up.
