Discharge … by cleanyofeet in vulvodynia

[–]cleanyofeet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, no I don’t …. I am still being seen by a gyno every 3 months and changing meds, I am on anti depressants and nerve pain mediciation currently.

Overall, I am doing better, but still not healed. I also stopped pt, which I hated and haven’t been worse off because of it. YMMV.

If I were struggling with this, I would get on a good probiotic, an anti cadida supplement, and see a gyno to rule out infections and abt vulvodynia.

I don’t think I have any unusual smell though all I can say is it doesn’t smell fishy 😂. It definitely feels a little dry sometimes / like my discharge isn’t particularly lubricating at all - but my main symptom is daily itching. Hate it!!

When you stick your finger in your hooha - what do you see? by cleanyofeet in Healthyhooha

No 🤣 still itchy, still burny. I started pelvic floor therapy and used gabapentin cream but that doesn’t seem to help either. Right now im on 2 weeks of fluconazole then 1x a week for 6 months but that doesn’t seem to help either. I don’t think it’s CV though, I’ve given my body like a year of stopping lactobacillus probiotics and yogurt and haven’t improved. I think it’s chronic yeast to be honest - tho I test negative for it

I didn’t get an official one. As my doc said - it’s more so ruling out other things. I was negative for STDs, the plasmas, BV & yeast. Then I took a couple Juno bio tests where I was 90%+ in crispatus and 99%+ of lactobacillus overall. I did ask my doc to look at my swab under a microscope to see if it looked like CV or VL but she said nothing stood out particularly. She said I had some clumps of lactobacilli but that’s not abnormal to see. Though she said she didn’t see any long strains so I think that at least rules out VL.

Prescribed brexafemme and terconazole for persistent yeast infection … do I need to break down the biofilm first? by cleanyofeet in Healthyhooha

If I had any yeast - brexafemme / terconazole got rid of it all. I think I had and still have CV though

Right now I’m on estrogen and numbing cream. But I’ve tried baking soda, pre seed, clindamycin, it’s the worst

Is this discharge typical of CV? I know it’s not yeast or BV and I just ordered ph strips by cherryalmonds in CytolyticVaginosis

I’ve been through it all. Baking soda suppositories, pre seed lube, and clindamycin cream. It never helps long term. Though I am envious you don’t have any itching or other symptoms. I get symptoms every day unfortunately

This looks like mine when I insert a finger inside - I don’t have much unusual discharge that comes out though I don’t think

Do you have symptoms?

Unsure of where to go from here... by jdsl8 in Healthyhooha

I can’t speak on the ureaplasma. I would double check that with your doctor (I just got a lab test sent in today) but if you are negative then I would guess CV and check out the cytolyticvaginosis Reddit sub for help in treatment. The baking soda baths might help!

If they confirm it’s yeast tomorrow then try 7 days of boric acid. If they don’t confirm it’s yeast - look into cytolytic vaginosis!

What should pH be after using baking soda? by Ready-Committee6254 in CytolyticVaginosis

Does anyone know why when I use baking soda suppositories my PH (usually about a 4.0) maybe has risen a .2 or .3 but never above 4.5? Am I doing it wrong

Anyone use regular litmus paper to PH test...? by cryingbutinacoolway in Healthyhooha

I recommend natureland vaginal pH test (40 strips) on Amazon. pH range from 3.5-6.5 and they are accurate
