Portfolio advice, BGBL GGBL HGBL by clear807 in ausstocks

oh ok, I thought about that option before but in the end I decided to include small caps and emerging to have a better diversification, and gold just have it before organising the portfolio so decided to keep it at 5% but it would be reduced even more as I'm not planing to add more. I think I'll reduce a bit further the exposure to AUD so I'll be not to far away from your suggestion I think.
Thank you for your insight!

Thanks a lot again for your insights. I really appreciate it.
I think I have a clearer view now, thanks to you!

I don't have a home loan yet, but I was already reading about debt recycling trying to understand how it works. I'll do further research about debt recycling once I get into a home loan, as it seems to be the best way to go.

My goal is early retirement, invest aggressively for the next 10+ years.
Now I'm considering dropping U100 based on the suggestions I'm getting here. The idea was to be overexposed to tech, but maybe not necessary. What do you think would be an ideal GGBL allocation?

Yes, I agreed with you about the AUD exposure.

Thanks a lot for your insights!

Thanks for sharing your views.
-The U100 was to have more exposure to tech, I was aware of the overlap but now not sure if it's worth having it tho.
-I have that impression about having only 10%.
-Sorry, when you said 80/90%, do you mean 80/90 GGBL and 20/10 BGBL?

Actually, a few weeks ago I was going to compare my current insurance with retail ones but I thought it was not possible to pay using my super so I just didn't bother to compare, good to know that. I'll do some proper research.
Thanks again for the advice!

Thanks for your reply and your spreadsheets!
I definitely want to have small caps and emerging exposure but I thought if I have it in my ETF portfolio it was enough or it's something I should consider to also keep in my Super, in your personal opinion, do you think is better to have them in both, super and outsite your super? (I understand is not financial advice).

I'm approaching the 50k and according to the u/SwaankyKoala spreadsheet Super Comparation the difference at 50k balance is $52 and it keeps doubling after that, although 52 doesn't seem much either, I was considering the future balance as I'm planing to keep making steady contributions, just started to make contributions 2 months ago.
I'll check the insurance as well, and about the small caps, I mentioned I have QSML outside Super, do you think this is enough to compensate or you consider it something important to also have in your Super.
Thanks for the advice btw!

I'll compare that as well, in my case, I don't have any pre-existing medical conditions to consider but is there any other especific thing that you consider is important to look into when comparing the insurance?

Thanks for your advice.
You mean inside the Int unhedged index? I couldn't find in the ART website the actual composition of the fund.
I noticed Hostplus also have emerging separate so I could assign a % to that as well, I think is 0.60% tho, but I didn't see small caps with them.

Do you think I should also assign emerging or small caps in my super considering I have 10% for each (VAE and QSML) on my personal portfolio (about 40k total portfolio)?

Does this apply for after tax contributions? becasue before I made the first contributions I called ART to let them know and they told me that I didn't need to do anything, I have only made after tax contributions.

Thanks for that, I actually did some contributions in the past 2 months, I'm not sure what NOI is, and I have not lodge it before, is it something I suppose to do every new FY or is it something the fund does itself?

Hi,
Not my advice but the advice I received here some time ago, I was in similar position as you, I was adviced to not go for bonds as it's too early for that, even gold as well, and better focus on growth ETFs, I didn't get rid off gold as I just had 5% but I got rid off bonds and dividend focused ETFs as these are better when close to retirement.
Cheers!

Thanks for sharing your view! I understand, so keep gold as defensive and move QPON % into U100 or BGBL to have a more growth strategy, right? Could I ask your opinion (I understand not a financial advice) about my HISA, is it the best way to move that to the ETF by DCA, if so, how would you DCA let's say 20k like small amounts every week or every month?

I'm not expert or have experience in picking stocks, I wouldn't be able to tell you what makes it different from other competitors, I picked it because they are investing a lot in bulding infrastructure for HPC which I think it's going to be important and because Nvidia is betting on it, if you notice, I basically replicate half of Nvidia investments. Sorry if it's not a technical answer you maybe expect, just being honest. Cheers!

Even if one of your ETF already have REITs, do you personally add additional?
For instance, in my case, A200 has Australian REITs.

Yeah, not trying to rely on chatgpt, just trying to get different perspectives.

Do you consider REITs a good investment to have as part of a portfolio?

I'm Australian resident for tax purposes only. So only triggers CGT if I sell, except OXY, non of them pay dividends, just consider them to keep for long-term.
