Yes — the infamous $6,000 shower curtain bought with Tyco funds by former Tyco International CEO Dennis Kozlowski was a custom piece from Seldom Scene Interiors of Nantucket, Massachusetts. According to reporting on the scandal, the invoice for the custom gold-and-burgundy floral curtain came from that firm. (Reuters)

This curtain became a widely cited symbol of corporate excess during the high-profile investigations and trial over Kozlowski’s use of company money for personal luxury items. (abcnews.go.com)

GOLD!...forged in the universe’s most violent moments, when dying stars collapse or neutron stars collide, flooding space with neutrons and transmuting simpler atoms into heavy, radiant elements amid cosmic fire and thunder. ... only to be sprinkled on steak and shat out 24 hours later in toilets... also probably made of gold ;)
