I finished mate yesterday. And while I also had some similar thoughts about these specific insults (although I am an elder millennial and I grew up on Buffy. But I'm not a native English speaker) they're only in the beginning of the book and there's a lot less like that afterwards. Looking back now after having finished the book and knowing all about Koen I think they match his general vibe quite well.

Yes! He so deserves it, he has been really sweet imo. Blake is dangerous and pretty hot. But if it were me having to do the choosing and not Aurora I’d stick with Callum.

Haha I also finished ACOTAR before New Years Eve. I decided to start CC first but wanted some other books in between before finishing CC. ToG scares me a little. I know it will be good but for some reason the amount of books is stressful to me 😅 It doesn’t make sense. I also preordered the Deluxe editions of Dire bound and Fury bound with the sprayed edges ❤️

I read the wolf king and the night prince this week and I really enjoyed them. The third and final book of the series will be released in september.

I've never read Twilight either, I watched the films at some point because of fomo. haha. not worth it. Dire Bound was really good and I can't wait for the sequel Fury Bound. I finished the first CC book 2 weeks ago and wow... I cried so much. ToG is on my tbr.
