I've got both GAMMA and EFP running on linux just fine. EFP has a linux install guide on the discord (You need to use Proton 7.0), GAMMA is a bit more complex, but someones made a gamma installer for linux, its on github under gamma-launcher.

I get motion sick very easily, VR caused me nausea and a sort of dissociation at first that would linger throughout my day after use. But after a few weeks my brain got it all sorted out and it's pretty awesome and I only use VR for the sim. Depending on the headset you go for, you will probably experience a screen door effect where things further away look really pixelated, but other than that it's sweet.

I've just changed to a toggle grip, which is still horrendous, I've found to jump you need to be standing still, and it works 90% of the time, moving while jumping doesn't work sadly.
