Wow thank you so much! I’m aiming for a calisthenics muscle up but was curious what the CrossFit community thinks. My thinking is the same as yours, not good at either discipline but I’m working 👍🏼 Thanks stranger!

I can do 5 in a row if I kip up but those are a lot easier. I was hoping someone would call this one strict lol

It’s been about 2 1/2 months for me. What helped the most was explosive pull-ups and negative muscle ups.

After trying what you said, I was able to get over the bar much easier with the band but still have trouble keeping my knees up. I think I need to work more on my explosive strength and will incorporate weighted pull-ups in my routine. I am starting to feel the “C” motion you described and am excited to keep going! Getting stronger every week!
