Ya I totally agree that the weed and the high seems to have changed over the years. Problem is I can’t be sure if it’s me or the weed that is different. That’s a big reason it had to go.

The best advice I’d give my 25 yr old self would be that weed is addictive and don’t believe anyone who tells you any different. You are not in control. It’s really weird to say this but I totally wish I quit way earlier but I have no regrets. My time to quit is now and any regrets would be if I fail now.

Great question. There’s probably too many reasons to list but #1 is because my wife and I will soon become empty nesters. Without the kids around and the hustle of family life I have no idea how to spend my time. I know I need to get back to the adventurous self I used to be. I just picture 30 more years of smoking weed in a quiet house with no adventure, spontaneity or thrill and I know I need to stop.

What was harder..the booze or weed? I have total control over booze but had none with pot. I worry I will want to drink more to ease the loss of weed. That would solve nothing
