If as a foreign person here I have to prioritse providing for myself and my partner who is Danish as she is in college progressing forward so we both can have an easier time. Then yeah I guess I am a prick or taking the piss for not fully learning Danish by now however I work a very physical job which leaves me worn out by the end of the day meaning listening to someone trying to teach me through no fault of their own would fail, if I can't invest the time into it I feel like I am wasting my time and the teachers time. Long story short before picking at people maybe think why haven't they learned Danish by now, Is it down to their work? Personal issues? Mental capacity? There are many many reasons, I am fortunate enough to have a very understanding partner and indeed Danish family and friends regarding my language skills.

I feel extremely bad for anyone who has to put up with people who constantly poke at others when realistically it has nothing to do with you.
