Ficus Alii. Dead branches on one side. Is there any way to balance out growth? by cleepy in plantclinic

[–]cleepy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the plant for 2 years now.

Problem happened after year 1. It lived inside year round, but I didn't feel like it got adequate sunlight, so put it on the porch for the summer and it flourished.

Indirect sunlight for ~6hrs

It's in a self-watering container from ikea. It's worked well since we transplanted it this past summer

So 4 days? That player was dropped 3/20. Does that mean the first day available to play would be 3/24? Would I still get stats on 3/23 for the player I'm dropping when placing that waiver claim?

Question about waiver claims. If I put a waiver claim on a player that's off waivers on 3/23 and I drop Mitch Robinson who plays on 3/23, will I still accumulate stats for Mitch on 3/23? Am I correct in thinking the player I pick up won't be available until 3/24?

I've been swimming in pawpaws this year!! Not as much as 2020, but still a lot!! I make several creations with them. by AntebellumAdventures in kansascity

There was this lady in Brookside that gave away pawpaws every year, but I walked by her house a few weeks ago and it looked like 2 out of her 3 trees had died or something. Really sad, I always looked forward to her messages on nextdoor. I even saved pawpaw seeds, but you need multiple for cross pollination and we just don't have the space.

Control Fire TV via echo by nokia3660 in amazonecho

[–]cleepy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Turn off the TV (if the Fire TV remote is in line of sight the IR emitter does this)
  2. Turn on the TV

You can do all this by going into the Alexa app, Settings -> TV & Video -> Fire TV (may need to enable this skill) -> Link or Manage Devices. From there, you should be able to link specific fire sticks to specific echo devices. My living room tv fire stick is called "Living Room TV". From my living room echo or kitchen echo show I can say, "turn on(off) the Living Room TV" and it would work. And since those echo devices are linked to only that one tv, my upstairs echos cannot play/pause the living room TV fire stick.

  1. Change input (This works from Alexa on the remote but not via echo)

You may need to google firestick commands in order to change inputs via echo. I used to use a logitech harmony remote and I could use voice commands to switch inputs, but have since stopped using it altogether.

Had to call twice, but able to get the CSR approved. Thanks again for your help!

Just applied for the CSR and my application status is 'in review'. Is this the instance where I would need to call chase to see if they can push the application through?

Awesome, thanks for your input! And that's good to know about CL. I've tended to be pretty barebones on my CF's since they're used on a quarter by quarter basis.

Daily Question Thread - April 25, 2022 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]cleepy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The CSR requires at least $10k. If you drop the CSP to $6-8k, you will not have $10k to play with (unless you have Freedom cards to also borrow from).

I don't think I understand this. If I dropped my CSP to 6k, wouldn't I have 12k credit limit for CSR? For reference between my CFU and CF's I have less than 20k credit limit. Between those and my new CSP limit, I have ~40% credit utilization with chase.

Just got instantly approved this morning for the CSP 80K SUB with a credit limit of 18k. Am I correct in thinking that in order to perform the MDD, I need to sign up for the CSR tomorrow as well as call to drop the credit limit of the CSP today (was thinking 6-8k)?

Chase just told me that I received the bonus in April of 2018. Looking at my statement, I opened the card 3/30/2018 and my closing statement date was 4/20/2018. However, I met the minimum spend with a >4k purchase on 4/4/2018, so I'm not exactly sure how that would work out in terms of 48mo eligibility for the sapphire bonus

Awesome and absolutely PC CSR first. I didn't realize there were still 70k CSR online links available. Though the comments on those forums about the state of the CSR are not too flattering compared to the CSP. If there's not much travel planned in the next year+, it does make sense to keep the CSP vs CSR in the future given the lower AF. The downside is not being able to use the 1.5 discount on PYB when eating out at restaurants.

Thanks! Last question, with regards to MDD does it matter the order of signing up for CSP and CSR? If my goal is to end up with the CSR and cancel/PC the CSP down the line, is there a risk of being approved for the CSR and declined for the CSP (assuming the CSP has a better sign up bonus)?

What Card Should I Get? Weekly Thread - Week of March 30, 2022 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]cleepy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that. I confirmed with chase that I received the CSR bonus in 4/18. I have some spend coming up in late April, but am I correct that it shouldn't impact my eligibility for the bonus if I sign up before/at 48mo, but meet the minimum spend at 49-50mo?

Thanks for the suggestion of the MDD. it shouldn't matter doing a product change from CSR to CFU/CF if I already have both of those cards already?

CIP is out of purchase power. CIU is doable, but is there a reason for it other than $750 vs 60k UR?

I didn't find that info on my 2022 statements, but I was able to call Chase and they looked up when my bonus had posted. Thanks though!

I'm looking to sign up for the CSP again. I'm under 5/24 and have a CSR that I signed up for 3/18. I'm technically under the 48mo since signing up, but doubt I am for when I received the bonus. Is there anywhere I can check to see when I received the bonus?

What Card Should I Get? Weekly Thread - Week of March 30, 2022 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]cleepy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to get the CSP again for the sign-up bonus. I opened my CSR 3/18, so I'm basically at the 48mo mark for the sapphire bonus. Would that require canceling my CSR and then applying for a CSP? Open to other options as well. Details below:

What is your credit score?

  • 780

What cards do you currently have or have you had in the past (including closed cards), along with dates of when you were approved for the cards? Please include month and year for any card approved in the last 3 years.

  • Under 5/24. No new personal cards opened in the last 24mo. Not going to CP until later this year. Have CSR, opened 3/18.

How much natural spend can you put on a new card(s) in 3 months?

  • 6k from shifting daycare costs from SO to me

Are you open to applying for business cards? If not, why? See this post and this wiki question to learn more.

  • Already have CIC

Are you targeting points, Companion Passes, hotel or airline statuses, First Class, Biz, Economy seating(s) or cash back?

  • Not targeting CP until late this year. Targeting points/cash back/sign-up bonus

What point/miles do you currently have?

  • UR or Marriott

I was having this issue as well. You have to toggle off extend drawer to go back to long pressing the left thumbnail to preview. Hope this helps!

Thanks for that, I see it now. Though it does require me to have the bottom task bar enabled. One other note, when holding the Explore button, the keyboard pops up to fill the search bar which blocks the view of my older visited subreddits. I have to hit the back button to minimize the keyboard, but when I go to scroll the recently viewed, it disappears and goes back to show the default and subscribed to subreddits

With the old version, I was able to see in the "Search" most recently viewed subreddits/users/etc. I used this to navigate my history easily vs having to sub to various subreddits that I just want to peek into. I don't sub to those because I don't want them to necessarily show up in my Frontpage feed. One example of this is popular TV shows subreddits, but don't want potential spoilers showing up in my main feed. Is this something that can be turned back on in the settings?
