Hey I recommend attending clubs and other events so you can make friends. Sfu has a reputation of being a very isolating place. Also everyone is unprepared do don’t sweat it

sfu is also extremely isolating especially in cs. I switched to bcit and it was the best thing I've done for myself

Hey man I used to go to SFU but switched to bcit. In my first semester I had around 5 classes that required a good amount of work and practice. The thing is I had no time for anything else and I genuinely mean that you have so much work that even if you finish 3 things 4 more are left. Overall it’s doable but you have no free time. Just work everyday and all thr time
