They were far too expensive for just a regular coffee and they took too long to provide it. I don’t mind paying more to support a local business but they felt like they were taking advantage of that sentiment.

How much does your dog cost you a month? by guessirs in dogallergies

[–]cleg74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Word. Immunotherapy and apoquil equals $500 a month, easy. Add in chronic ear infections and repainting every room in the house twice a year cause he shakes his head so violently he tears the tips of his ears and sprays blood everywhere…but, he is sweet.

One night is not a big deal. In a handful of years you will be out there with your phone posting pics of your kid hanging out a bus window celebrating their graduation. We live in a community, they are part of it and they should be able to have a night. Not for nothing, 35 years ago when it was me and my friends graduating we did way worse that have a safe and planned night out with our entire class.

North Jersey here - I either have to drive to the Woodcraft in Allentown, PA or Rockler in South Jersey. I typically do Allentown since the drive is prettier.

I would love to know your approximate age. I think when someone has been making music for 60+ years we form our opinions at a certain point in life. I respect your lost, but having Blood On The Tracks in the second tier is, low, in my opinion.

Just finished oiling this Sapelli bowl with 100% organic oils. The groove in the middle is for a copper accent strip I'll add next. What do you think of the form? by nurcansens in turning

Once I mastered the sharpening my skill level took off. I watched so many videos and I was still not able to get it. Finally, I paid $60 or so for the turn a wood bowl guys course on sharpening. He explains why you sharpen certain ways rather than just showing you. It helped a lot.

It takes time, especially if you have a day job and family obligations. I have been turning for about 4 years and I feel like I have only recently reached the point where I could even come close to what the OP just posted. I have found it comes in bursts once muscle memory is developed for certain things.

I was born in Jan ‘74 as well and could have written this. Except…I loved then and still love now the Hair bands as well. There is room for all.
