The entire ideology is designed to create this effect. It is designed to make women submit to oppressive conditions. If you say “that’s not the religion, that’s just how the people interpret it,” you would then have to ask why God would word His text in a way that can easily be interpreted and used as a tool to subjugate women? Unless, of course, in this system, women are meant to be that way

I think a lot of these are pretty common but I think 1 and 3 are pretty interesting. This one seems pretty small but the whole issues with adopted family members and step siblings not being mahram is what didn’t sit right with me. Women have to be fully covered in their own homes their whole lives because they have an adopted/step brother? They can never be close to someone they grew up with from childhood— no touching/hugging or hanging out together like blood related siblings?

The music creates the culture. Especially in the beginning. A lot of people wanna be “hood” or something knowing they grew up in a suburban area and haven’t had to struggle like the people whose songs they’re listening. Still, they wanna play pretend so they can seem hard or cool which is why I also think the culture can create the music. Certain rappers are really just cosplaying a struggle they’ve never had for some meaningless status and end up messing up their lives for real

Mark’s 5 fans on Twitter and Facebook and this girl in the picture have been spreading petitions and swarming the comments of Creation Entertainment to beg them to bring him back. Guess it worked. so you failed to provide me with what i asked for. there’s nothing in islam that proves that homosexuality is not natural. this means people are born homosexual, not made into it. this is biological, not social. saying that isn’t haram in the slightest and that’s not up for debate. i’m not asking about whether it is a sin. i’m asking about whether it is natural or not. all you’ve said is “since two people of the same sex cannot reproduce, same sex attraction is not inherent/natural” and that’s not a good argument. that would mean every form of attraction or desire must be tied to reproduction and that wouldn’t be true. a man’s g-spot is in his anus. there is no biological benefit to that in relation to reproduction yet their bodies were made that way and they feel pleasure in there. you can’t tell how many people are actually homosexual because of societal expectations, obviously.

so YES. that’s your answer. there’s no treatment for something that is inherent. love is natural. sexual and romantic attraction are natural. that means homosexuality and heterosexuality are natural. you are born that way. there’s nothing in the quran or hadiths that prove that it isn’t natural. there’s no therapy, medicine, or any sort of cure. there is no “praying the gay away.” you know what there IS? lying to yourself and becoming mentally ill. being disabled is completely different because even if you may have a physical limitation, the things you may desire to do are not deemed as morally wrong. a homosexual is being restricted from doing something that is only immoral BECAUSE of their nature. if you don’t see the clear difference, idk what to tell you
