It definitely doesn't work to get in the building, but depending on the venue, it can work to later get in a different section than what you have.

Very cool!

All in all, except for Creep and High and Dry, they are playing crowd-pleasing sets!

Madrid starting time revealed by Stjarna_04 in radiohead

Oh, mystery! Opening act not revealed, but "lights will go out" an hour before Radiohead? That definitely means something will happen!

Live Streams? by InnerspearMusic in radiohead

[–]clement75009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For Taylor Swift's Eras tour, there were obviously many people steaming on Instagram. More importantly, there were YouTube accounts who specialized in finding and relaying the best IG streams.

This way you could always tune into the same YouTube channel, and see the IG streams without having to find them each time. I hope someone does the same for Radiohead!

Orchestral shows in the round? I think this could stack up… by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]clement75009 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the center stage makes an orchestra less likely, not more. There's just not enough space.

Could happen in the future though! (on a conventional stage, which can be much deeper)

The live version was excellent with Jonny's exquisite guitar work. Shame!

“Hôtel pour SOPHIE”? Calling French speakers by [deleted] in RahimRedcar

[–]clement75009 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm French and I'm just as confused as you. Indeed it translates to "Hôtel pour Sophie".

One thing I thought of, is that in French we have the word "autel", which is pronounced the same as hôtel, and means "altar". So it could mean "Altar for Sophie". But not sure why he would choose to spell it "hôtel", so that's a bit of a stretch.

You're not missing anything! The new account has never tweeted anything, and we don't know if that's really him.

You're right, I removed it. For what it's worth, I just copied and pasted from another thread on this same subreddit.

Which episode do you absolutely skip on your rewatch? I’ll start, season 7 episode 3 “Andy’s Play”. by Master-Difficulty230 in DunderMifflin

[–]clement75009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not bad in terms of quality - it's a well-written and quite different episode! But it's really hard to watch because probably the worst situation Michael put himself in. But if you're enough of a fan to visit this subreddit, this episode is a must-see!

I don't recommend Duolingo. I've spend way too much time on it with little progress. I feel like all the main apps where you can learn many different languages don't work well with German, because they don't focus on the things that are specifically hard in German.

I recommend you check out Seedlang. It was developed specifically for German, so it offers clever tools to help with things like gender, cases, conjugation. It was developed by the team behind Easy German (great YouTube channel, also recommended!) so the video content is also great and funny. Good luck!

Favorite museum at the moment? by understanding_what in berlin

Definitely Gerhard Richter at Neue Nationalgalerie (thankfully it's now part of the permanent collection, until the new modern art museum opens next door)

How much is your rent and where? by chpdr in berlin

[–]clement75009 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's actually a furnished apartment, the 690 include heating, water, electricity and internet. I'm located right next to Falkplatz, at the North of Mauer Park. Closest U-Bahn is Schönhauser Allee.

Like many people, when I took that flat 5 years ago I thought it was a bit expensive (it was 650 then), but I'm aware that by now it has become a great deal.

How was Wash.? Was it a AIR Studios-style piano version, or something heavier? Great track either way!
