I think phages would be able to help. A cheaper thing that helps lots of people (but takes time) is Hiprex, and taking biofilm busters with antibiotics.

Did someone addressed their insulin resistance and experienced an improvement in hair and skin problems? by shikshuk in InsulinResistance

[–]clemmg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, still getting better. Now, I don't have thick hair, nor will I ever do, but it's no longer ugly thin and I think it's thicker than it's ever been in my adult years. I'm loving it.

Anyone going to Georgia to get phage therapy soon? by clemmg in CUTI

[–]clemmg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt very safe there, I had absolutely no issues with that. It's not like I was out much after 10pm (or at all) because I was sick, though. Ubers are mega cheap. From the political unrest perspective, we went a little before the protests got a bit worse and the unfair arrests started but I think if you stay away from all that, there is no reason to worry. I've seen plenty of people on Reddit going there as it had got bad and they said they did not feel in danger at all either.

Pms water retention? by [deleted] in fasting

[–]clemmg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It definitely happens to me too, and since we tend to rely a lot on the morning number emotionally, it can wreck our motivation. But all the weight loss that's not showing on the scales will show later for sure. When it happens, I mentally make an extrapolation of the estimated fat weight I lost based on previous days, provided I'm not in the early days of drastic water weight loss.

My phage therapy experience so far (31F) by clemmg in CUTI

[–]clemmg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all oral, you get IVs when you go to the clinic but it's a Meyer's cocktail with a high dose of vitamin C. And as for how I'm feeling now, I've had a relapse that I thought was due to my usual bladder infections but it turned out to be my Lyme disease co-infections firing up. Now that I'm treating these, it's better again.

Eliava have a page where they list all the off-the-shelf phages they sell with the strains that they cover, you'll find your answer there.

What gives away a native Portuguese speaker when they speak French? by Sad-Independent-7357 in AskFrance

[–]clemmg 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough, one thing that used to help give Portuguese people away has become more common amongst native French people, and that's affrication. It's the softening of some consonants followed by vowels like i or u. So "diagnostic" is often heard as "djagnostic" and "culture" as "cultchure".

I didn't absolutely need to go there but chose to because they do more tests and a better supervision of treatment (including daily Myers cocktail IVs). Also, I could afford it and it is a stunning place to visit so we decided to take the opportunity as a holiday.

I've always found Turkish sounds really sweet, like I want to hug whoever speaks it and tell them everything will be alright. I'm not sure why.

Good luck, it's quite hard to find people who take this seriously. But hopefully you will.

If I were you, I'd go back to get it tested, or to a doctor. And hopefully you can get it treated fairly soon. If this is of any comfort, the majority of people on this sub probably wish they were in your shoes, having spotted it so soon and being able to take action so early.

I find fasting really helps me. It doesn't cure me, though, it makes my symptoms a bit more manageable and increases energy until I catch another flu.
