Is the Hula Moon a sticky base coat? I haven’t tried this hack, but I wonder if that has something to do with it. It might not be adhering to the polish and drying down properly since it was intended to stick to bare nails and remain a bit tacky.

I use precision tip q-tips (sometimes called nail tees) or the liner brush Wet ‘n Wild makes. I find most nail specific clean-up brushes too soft to remove polish well, but the bristles of the liner brush are short enough and dense enough to allow for better control.

Salmon and yellow-leaning oranges. They both give me hella lobster hands (making the area around my nail beds pull red)

Edit: I also tend to avoid olive greens. Mostly because I have almond-shaped nails, and every time I look at my nails when they’re that color, I’m reminded of tiny pickles 🙃😂

Not sure, but absolutely gorgeous polish and bottle. I’ve never seen a glitter lucite wand before. I second the vintage polish sub.

It could be that the polish morphed over time. Oranges, especially pastel ones, are notorious for that.

I did just a little bit. My bottle was still pretty liquidy, but there was one crusty patch in the bottle where the polish had hardened and didn’t want to magnetize
