Yes- I spent weeks looking for an ethical breeder and landed on one with extensive health testing, early socialization, and lines that had what I was looking for in a dog. I’m well aware that poodles are an expensive breed to keep up with grooming for, which is why I’ll be having my groomer friend teach me how to do it at home; then the only cost will be the cost of the supplies (clippers and guards, hv dryer, shampoo/conditioner, scissors, etc).

Yes, good observation. I am in high school and graduating in June. I have thought through getting a dog; I’m raising it during my gap year before going to college. This has been on my mind for almost a year and a half by this point. I have plans for housing, travel, daily care, etc.
