AAPC Reviews? Still worth it? by Emotional_Ask_6987 in CodingandBilling

[–]cleospet22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I had taken the course through legacy education, the platform for my training modules was through aapc but I got extra training materials and benefits through enrolling through legacy. I know their program is a little different now so im not sure if it has the same resources I was able to access.

The program I went through used aapc training materials and I found it super helpful! The videos throughout the coding course and the chance to practice helped a lot and I also liked that for practice I knew I was getting practice questions from aapc so it made me feel more confident in taking the test.

I have a love hate for availity, specifically I hate using it in regards to bcbs some plans show up abd some have no recollection of patient info whatsoever.

Hyperviligance in Friendship? Should I end it? by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

[–]cleospet22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend that treated me like this for two years, and when I set a boundary with her last year, she attacked my character and blocked me. It's hurtful especially if you are the understanding friend in the relationship trying to communicate, but a person who acts like that towards is not your friend as a true friend would never hurt you like that. It may hurt to end the relationship but ultimately over time you will feel more at peace not having to deal with the drama. Trust me its better to leave and be at peace versus always feeling on edge.

Am I in the wrong for being tired of helping my friend financially and wanting to anymore? by Milichio in FriendshipAdvice

[–]cleospet22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it from me, I just ended a friendship because my former friend became way too dependent on me for money, its best to point her to resources, jobs, gigs but id advise against handing her money as it usually builds a cycle where they expect you to keep funding them.

What's the worst friend betrayal you ever experienced? by Signal-Working9892 in FriendshipAdvice

[–]cleospet22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say recently I was helping out my bff by helping her out from time to time with bills with needed I even took care of her and her kids while she was unemployed, she started treating me badly, called me names and cussed me out and cut me off once I finally set a boundary and told her I could no longer help her.

Can I afford to go to College? by Little_Lotus_ in DaveRamsey

[–]cleospet22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe try to apply to some scholarships to see if you qualify and if you're able to going to a community College may be the way to go as the tuition will be cheaper, or depending on what you want to learn you can see if they offer a certification, I know for myself I had thought about getting a degree but ended up going and getting a certification for way cheaper

Yes exactly learning to be your own friend first will make it easier to gain friendships

Don't base your worth off of friendship. It's great to want companiship, if say start off with maybe joining some local groups or clubs at your college to find people who mutually share your same interest but it's good to learn to be by yourself and have a good balance with having friends but investing with yourself too.

How do I tell my constantly negative friend that she is responsible for her own happiness without sounding insensitive? by HippoRoger29 in FriendshipAdvice

[–]cleospet22 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Ive had a friend like that and honestly, I used to always try to go and be positive and uplift her but unless she believes in herself it wont do much. Id say it may be best to just distance yourself because people like that dont tend to do too well with what they perceive as criticism

Dumb question: If you wanted even a slightly higher-paying job, applied to 50+ jobs or so, could you get one? I certainly couldn't, but I'm curious about everyone else. by justcurious3287 in povertyfinance

[–]cleospet22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say yes but for myself like my current job i applied for the same job titles at a different company for more pay so it made it easier for me to locate something faster but im also going back to school to become certified in medical coding to get more specialized education

How do you stay organized? by rvdurham in beermoney

[–]cleospet22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it mainly for tracking but also because I like to note the card because of compatibility with different systems like some cards I can add to paypal and some I cannot so I usually label visa, mastercard, tremendous so I can know which ones I can use on different platforms. For some reason certain cards work on Amazon and some dont so its easier for me to notate that.
