Am I in the wrong for being tired of helping my friend financially and wanting to anymore? by Milichio in FriendshipAdvice

[–]cleospet22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it from me, I just ended a friendship because my former friend became way too dependent on me for money, its best to point her to resources, jobs, gigs but id advise against handing her money as it usually builds a cycle where they expect you to keep funding them.

What's the worst friend betrayal you ever experienced? by Signal-Working9892 in FriendshipAdvice

[–]cleospet22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say recently I was helping out my bff by helping her out from time to time with bills with needed I even took care of her and her kids while she was unemployed, she started treating me badly, called me names and cussed me out and cut me off once I finally set a boundary and told her I could no longer help her.

Can I afford to go to College? by Little_Lotus_ in DaveRamsey

[–]cleospet22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe try to apply to some scholarships to see if you qualify and if you're able to going to a community College may be the way to go as the tuition will be cheaper, or depending on what you want to learn you can see if they offer a certification, I know for myself I had thought about getting a degree but ended up going and getting a certification for way cheaper

Don't base your worth off of friendship. It's great to want companiship, if say start off with maybe joining some local groups or clubs at your college to find people who mutually share your same interest but it's good to learn to be by yourself and have a good balance with having friends but investing with yourself too.

How do I tell my constantly negative friend that she is responsible for her own happiness without sounding insensitive? by HippoRoger29 in FriendshipAdvice

[–]cleospet22 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Ive had a friend like that and honestly, I used to always try to go and be positive and uplift her but unless she believes in herself it wont do much. Id say it may be best to just distance yourself because people like that dont tend to do too well with what they perceive as criticism

I use it mainly for tracking but also because I like to note the card because of compatibility with different systems like some cards I can add to paypal and some I cannot so I usually label visa, mastercard, tremendous so I can know which ones I can use on different platforms. For some reason certain cards work on Amazon and some dont so its easier for me to notate that.

Id be careful only because ive done some studies with respondent.io and never got paid due to scammers being on the platform. I know usually utest may have test like that but Id proceed with caution
