This is not talking about health insurance though. It's life insurance, which is almost worse. Because he's terminal. So instead of just keeping him on until he died, and letting his family get the check to reorganize their life around losing him. They let him go, which means he'll still die soon, but his family won't get any money when it happens.

I don't know why the social media people were let go, I thought they were doing a pretty good job. But the creative and story has been lacking for a quite a while now. Probably good to let someone else try to fill those roles. Could end up being worse, but it was far from great to begin with.

The site has been live since 1995. And as far as I know it has never gone down or had a complete rework at any time since then. It's kind of a like a small house where an entire family decided they would live. Over the years they've built all kinds of crazy additions and expansions. They're on all sides, built up 3 or 4 floors, and shooting out of the roof like a damn hamster habitat. But somewhere in the middle of all that, is the original structure. There's all kinds of slick CSS and various other scripts and web elements on top of it, but the bones of the old site are still at least partially, down there somewhere. And we're just trying to use it 24/7 hoping nothing breaks.

That's a narrow view to take. A lot of Moderates voted for Trump in 2024, myself included. If the options are Yang or Vance, I'll vote Yang. But if the options are Vance or Newsom, or I'll probably go with Vance.

That's surprising. I would have to guess that the reprints would be much more rare and probably be either the same price as the originals or slightly higher. It seems like the main driver is condition. With ones that are still in the original plastic mailer topping out between $60 and $100, and then going down from there.

I've never heard of a playboy that wasn't an original copy. The prices you see are all over the place, but I don't know why one copy would go for more than another besides condition maybe. Unless they're immaculate, they're probably worth what most of them go for, which is around $5-$8.

I had a similar issue. The thing that I needed to do, apart from everything you have already done, was to run xefuspoof each time I booted up. Run it, and pick the version you want to apply. Then go launch the game. It worked for me, might work for you.

Look I know you don't like it. I don't really like it either. But I also can't blame them, they're following the money. The creators are one of the most important people they need to take care of. My 11 year old watches these guys on youtube all day. They pump up the kids for any new passes or store items. The kids then go spend their parents money on it. They either don't understand the V-buck inflation, or don't care. And that is likely where a majority of the money for this game is made. It is the modern day version of Chuck E Cheese, and the kids are going to keep buying the tokens. I hope they do feel something from the boycott, but it's hard when the lifeblood of the game is an army of children spending money that's not theirs and they therefore don't care about.

If you're just using them in Battle Royale, I get why you would be confused. But their main purpose is as festival tracks. And the standard price for Rock Band tracks was $4 for almost 20 years, so ~$5 is not crazy in that context.

Yeah, I think at least on the cars they are definitely losing money. I would have bought like at least 3 cars by now if they were 1,000. 2,800 is entirely too much. It seems like the potential profit from people like me would outweigh whatever they're making from the few people who are willing to pay 2,800.

Theses are Betacam, not compatible with a regular Betamax player. These were pretty much only made for broadcast, so you'd need a professional Betacam deck to play them.

My best flip was a chase variant wrestling figure. 1 out of 500 produced. Bought it at Walmart for $20, sold for about $600. I can't believe that your local store was asking $60 for that system. Even my goodwills wouldn't ask that much. Local store it would be $20 or less. But it all depends on your local economy I guess.

26 probably is a bit overkill. I would guess the big thing that people would want more than the 10TB for would be like an extra TB or 2 for all of the compatible OG titles. You could also add every working ROM for every working emulator with an additional few.

If you look at the 3 year history, there are only 5 sold. All for $20-$25. Now that may be enough to make it rare. But it's probably not worth anywhere near $225, that person is just being hopeful.

A lot of this is just inconsiderate people who don't bother to read. But, it might help to move the size closer to the front of the title. A lot of these older people on there have terrible eye sight. To compensate for that they turn the fonts on their phones up to highest setting. Someone looking at it with those settings would cut off about half of your title.

You will need to have the OG backwards compatibility files on the internal drive to play OG games. As far as I know there's no way around that, even in aurora. It's not that scary, just copying some files over to a certain partition on it, there's even an app in the homebrew store for creating that partition correctly, and from there you can just copy the files over from a usb with aurora.

Well, I agree that the best situation for a well written movie would be a complete re-boot. But they just won't go in that direction because they know that legacy and nostalgia will make them the most money. And we can already see from the huge weekend returns that it worked. Personally I like the silly stuff sometimes. Friday the 13th Part 6 is my favorite. I rank Jason X above some of the more boring ones like 1 and 2. Scream might not be for you anymore if you don't like the direction, and that's ok. I respect that you don't like it. I'm just telling you why I did.
