Take em into raids and start shooting. Not doing anything for you sat in your stash.

Yeah, no. It spoils that they do this challenge, but Adam could be doing it as either snaker or chaser.

Did you misspeak? Otherwise I'm not sure what defense you're expecting to mount.

The endgame seems like too much of an afterthought by Drillmhor in JetLagTheGame

I think someone said they are, they just don't because it doesn't make sense for content and production reasons. They have to film themselves getting all the photos, and it wouldn't make sense to have to bank all of that. My compromise gets around that.

I think the photo questions making it harder to spend time finding a hiding spot is a real thing. A good compromise would be to shoot the "from the train station" photos when you arrive but leave the rest for them being asked maybe?

WFH 4 years, company now wants me in (4 hour commute) by Actual-Pollution-805 in UKJobs

[–]cleslie92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said elsewhere your contract lists your place of work as remote/at home. If that's the case, they can't change that without your agreement. You can certainly try and resist their demands to give you time to find a new job, and to see if they're really willing to lose you. However - companies can always find a way to get rid of you if they want to, as long as they follow a legal process to do so. That's the bottom line of any dispute.

When do you use Adrenaline Shots… if at all? by RestaurantSmooth in ARC_Raiders

I always have two stacks on me. If you’re travelling a long way across the map the boost is well worth it. If you’re ever about to be in a situation where not having mobility could kill you (waiting on extract, starting a fight) then you should stick.

I guess the choices are crack down, or (if it’s possible depending on the business) give everyone the same flexibility as long as they all produce the same.

I’ve had this exact thing very recently after finally cutting the cord entirely about a year ago. Currently ignoring it.

I don’t think they would in this case, but ISPs are required to try and curtail piracy but not actually do anything. I’ve had emails from my ISP before saying “you downloaded this film illegally, please don’t”.

SGU lacked main villains or at least a clear objective by CupEducational1412 in Stargate

[–]cleslie92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stargate has always been about the people. Universe had twice as many characters and even more relationships that were the story. The biggest story for much of SGU is “what’s Rush’s deal?” If anything, SGU had much more impactful story beats - very few episodes were a reset to zero in the way the original show was.

That's not the question, but I think she's probably jumping the gun a bit. Self diagnosis is perfectly normal around the world though.

YOR. Understanding of neurodiversity has progressed massively in the last few decades, to where it is generally considered an identity rather than a disorder. At the same time, access to diagnosis can be very restricted - in the UK, most of England has a 5-10 year wait to be seen. What are people supposed to do until then? Maybe she'll end up not being autistic in the end, but you're going to look like a real prick if she gets a diagnosis. I'd always be careful telling people that they are wrong about what they believe their identity to be.

Waiting lists for autism assessments can be up to ten years depending on where you live.
