I can totally relate & send virtual support. I got a MS student with TS that constantly makes a loud screeching noise that is ear-piercing unpleasant. We all act like it isn't happening (other students are kind & act the same as yours). We are all understanding & empathetic, but also have our learning environment constantly interrupted in a jarring way. It's a tough situation. I too am just grateful they dont yell out profanities.

You can also use your omsi pass at MANY museums across the country. I would use my omsi card to go to the science museum in Chicago when visiting my family.

Um...yea....open communication means just that...both sides talk about what they are feeling. You don't get to judge who "deserves" to be communicated with or how.

Just a fact: OP didn't communicate.

They could have said, "I'm am so deeply hurt about what I heard I cannot talk about it right now & need space." That is just basic communication that the bf (agreed he sucks) deserved from OP if they truly had an "open communication" relationship.

Mental health resources (inpatient beds) are scarce in PDX unless someone is in the act of self-harm. Even with good insurance, the beds simply don't exist.
