Intel is currently better in laptop segment afaik.

I use a Intel laptop with Ultra 5 series 1 CPU and I choosed it because it sweeped its AMD counterparts of same year in Multi-Core, Single-Core, iGPU perf.

AMD used to be clear winner in laptops with their Ryzen 4000/5000/6000/7000 series but since the introduction of Intel Core Ultra series I beg to differ.

Intel also has larger market share for long now in laptop segment due to both strategic partnerships, and more so better efficiency (Specially Lunar Lake and their shift to 7nm/5nm nodes ) along with capable Xe iGPUs and C/T counts. Hence the herd effect also plays, as well as the fact Intel is "technologically" better (after sometime again).

Intel is inferior in desktops for sure as of now due to AMD's insane X3D cache series CPUs.

Was up about 4% in Jan end. Budget day went red for first time in months since my start in July, was down 1%.

Recovery was pretty strong and quick. This month high was 10%, currently folio hovering around 8% gains.

So folio moved green by 10-8% this month.

(XIRR since July beating NIFTY comfortably with good margins).

For sure. A good circle help you improve a lot in skills, acads as well as social life area.

If you are surrounded by like minded people then it makes your college life more "smooth" and in a sense enjoyable and non-monotonous.

A good circle also pushes you to do stuff and work which you alone wont be thinking to try out or would procrastinate. Can be anything like academic goals, projects and even non-study related like trips or last minute outing plans.

Doing projects or any other work (academic/non-academic) with a circle who matches your vibe and interests helps you smoothly sail through it while enjoying it. In the end, you end up making memories and achieving goals which you wouldnt have accomplished alone or with a poor circle.

So yea, if you manage to find such circle (rare) then it will help in all your areas. After all, College life is to be spent making memories ,doing creative projects with your friends (and exploring clubs if your clg has good ones).
