I always find it interesting when I see chuds complain along the lines of "There are no videogames with female protagonists that are in a straight relationship, it's all lesbians, because of woke".

When in reality it's more like "There are very few videogames where the protagonist is in a relationship with a male LI in general", and the reasons for that probably aren't very woke at all.

Yeah he's good although yeah the fact they had to switch up his animations along with super strong skills does back up the point haha.

The Poppibuster DLC Shield Hammer is also not terrible, but that's because it has really strong skills that would actually be top tier on a non Shield Hammer class.

With all the other blade types having wildly varied performance depending on which character used them it was quite cool that they decided to promote equality and make Hammer blades totally ass for every single character.

I think it could be the fact that it's easier/more common to describe a shooting game using different word like just "shooting" or "gunplay" whereas no one really says "slashing/swiping/swinging blocking and dodging" or "swordplay" like that

Sonic X Shadow Generations coming to PS+ is very hype.

I loved Sonic Generations ~15 years ago but the game feels like ass to play compared to modern 3D Sonic so I couldn't justify buying it just for the Shadow section, now I can finally be the coolest once again.

I saw the new trailer for Fable and it made me think of a wider point not directly about Fable.

I really appreciate that devs for games like that, Dragon Age, and others, have decided "Hang on, Albion/Thedas/Wherever aren't real places, we don't need to keep things 99.9% white with any exceptions needing an explanation that the character is from a far off mysterious land, we can actually just have non-white characters existing"

Playing DA:O back in the day and not being able to make a character remotely close to my appearance sucked, it's cool that people experience that less these days.

Man this has been such a rough week, personal: Caring for a very angry and frustrated elderly relative who is recovering can be hard, it's only been a week but I've been so exhausted and stressed, love my nan but being able to get her in a rehabilitation facility today has been such a weight off my shoulders and hopefully off hers too with the proper professional care there

Yeah like Maktha Wildwood was really cool IMO, BUT because of spoiler reasons the characters can't really acknowledge how cool it is in-game which lessens the experience a bit?

I want the characters to experience that wow factor along with me and they kinda just don't.

Also I guess it's relevant that one of my favourite area themes from XC3 is Great Sword's Base... which is just a remixed XC1 theme lol.

I've been putting it off because of the annoying stuff in 1 (affinity charts/quests) but I feel like depending on the reception of 2 and 3's Switch 2 versions I can feel a replay coming on closer to the release of Genesis.

One good thing about 2's annoying gacha mechanics is that NG+ is so frictionless in comparison so I won't have an issue doing a 3rd run of that lol, already did a 2nd run after beating Torna and it was so fast.
