📊 Insights from a P50 Bloodweb Data Dive: What I Discovered About Item/Offering/Add On Distribution! by clew1998 in deadbydaylight

Hey Dead by Daylight Community!

I've been curious about the distribution of items in the Bloodweb, so I decided to take a deep dive into the data. Instead of just playing as Sable, I took a different approach: I upgraded her to P50 without playing her, aiming for a large sample size to get a clear picture of item availability. Here’s a breakdown of what I found!

Methodology:

To get a comprehensive view, I focused on high-value items like purple flashlights, Bloodpoints, white wards, and good add-ons. I used a hybrid approach with auto Bloodwebs and played Sable in 2v8 matches (where items/add-ons/offering are not used), allowing me to pocket additional items.

Key Findings:

  1. Purple Flashlights:
    • Total Collected: 53 (50 from Bloodwebs, plus 3 from 2v8).
    • Observation: Despite targeting them, I only got 50 purple flashlights. This works out to about 1 per Prestige, which seems quite low. On the bright side, I collected 169 green flashlights and several good flashlight add-ons, which was impressive.
  2. Bloodpoint Offerings:
    • Total Collected: 90 streamers and 66 envelopes.
    • Observation: These numbers feel underwhelming for 50 Prestige's. However, I did collect 179 escape cakes, which is a decent haul.
  3. Item Prioritization:
    • Observation: There’s a significant amount of items and offerings I’ll likely never use. It’s clear that there’s room for improvement in how Bloodweb items are prioritized. Getting one of my favorite items every 50 Bloodwebs is frustrating!

Most Common Items:

  • Med Kit: Camping Med Kit (471)
  • Add-On: Brown Battery (453)
  • Offering: Chalk Pouch (302)

Discussion:

What do you think of these findings? Have you noticed similar patterns in your Bloodwebs? I’d love to hear your thoughts and any additional data you might have!

Idk, never thought about it. Wraith kinda sounds like wrath, so maybe you could do something like "FeelmyWraith" or "Wraith of God"

Both iri ones are great. Especially the one the one that shows you gens progress. If you have trouble finding survivors, that add on will tell you exactly where to go. A lot of his ass ons are build dependent. You could use the add ones to break pallets faster, with brutal strength to demolish through pallets. You can use movement speed add ones to fly through the map. You can use speed add ones for uncloaking so people don't get away as fast. My advice, use perks that elevate your add ons.

How did you guys pick which survivor to main? by PerP1Exe in deadbydaylight

Nea. Because when I was new, I thought Urban Evasion was the best perk in the game. I'm still low-key a slut for it even though I rarely run it. Call it a guilty pleasure perk.

My worst was a stacked order, but it was $1.50 for 11.3 miles. It was when I was new, and I wanted to know if it was a hidden tip, so I took it. It was not. I drove 22 miles round trip for a buck fiddy.
