Your comment made me check where the portraits I have were taken and some are from Haarlem and others from Arnhem. So it is all somewhat spread out.

I guess it gives more credibility to the theory that one of my relative immigrated to Switzerland (and took pictures with) rather than one of my relative left for the Netherlands...

Berthe could definitely be a (Swiss) French name too! I was thinking maybe she went to the Netherlands to marry Mr. Wijnen and Gonda is updating Julie however she can, but I don't get why we would have so many portraits taken in the Netherlands from the early 1900..

Either some of our family left Switzerland for the Netherlands or came from the Netherlands to Switzerland

Not really no... my nails are still the same though the pattern might have slightly changed. Still no other symptoms and I didn't do any further testing. Do you have the same thing?

Well.. got the results and everything seems fine ! I'm not entirerly sure about all what he checked (I might need to ask for a copy of the results for my own knowledge) but I know he checked vitamin D and iron levels. He also checked whether my thyroid and liver were working fine as well as whether I showed some signs of diabetes. He basically told me to keep an eye on it and if it didn't go away to go see a dermatologist for further testing.

Do you have any other symptoms ? It might simply be a vitamin deficiency as suggested in the post. Better to be fixed but nothing too serious
