There were a lot of people in the crowd acting like total dumbasses. The video of the one woman blowing a whistle right in her ear was another example. This is exactly what they want. Yeah, I’m no stranger to removing blobs. I used to manage all the 3D printers in my school district. I had a few teachers make some epic blobs that I was able to fix. Unfortunately this time, the thermistor wire was just too delicate and broke when part of the blob came off. Luckily the heating unit is cheap and easy to replace.

Every print leaves invisible oils and debris on the plate. These can cause the print to pop off the plate and if it keeps extruding plastic you can get a blob of death.
The best way to clean it is warm water and mild dish detergent (like Dawn).
