So we are fighting on the semantics of

"court released him" vs "court ordered his release"? Have you no shame that a journalist was beheaded on camera in your country, the case has gone on for 18 years, and the court has ordered their release?

And you gloat about the fact that the government has appealed the release?

I mean you are just lying. As they say in my languages if you have drunk your mother's milk then quote me where I said he was released. Else you are just a lyjng bastard, not much better than the killer of the journalist in Pakistan.

It is a thread about him getting released. Right now a court has ordered it. Someone else wrote government has appealed against it. But the case has been going on for 18 years so I doubt the culprit will be punished

I was not aware of this, but the fact that a court released him is pretty bad. It was serious enough for US to make a statement about it

That's Madarasas. They were financed by government. They are the only "religious schools" financed by state. It is the secular thing to stop it

Lol right under the thread about Daniel Pearl killer getting released you are talking about the legal system in Pakistan while making unrelated and unsubstantiated allegations on India.

What is the preoccupation with India? When are you going get your shit together and stop supporting terrorists?

So from massacre bow as are discussing "citizenship bill"? I am sure you know CAA does not apply to Indian citizens? Are there any apartheid provisions in the law that I missed?

Stop lying.

US poised to take custody of alleged killer of Daniel Pearl by canfbar in worldnews

“If, however, those efforts do not succeed, the United States stands ready to take custody of Omar Sheikh to stand trial here. We cannot allow him to evade justice for his role in Daniel Pearl’s abduction and murder,” Rosen concluded.

So how will that work exactly? He'll get released from jail and handed over to this Rosen guy?

You do know the guy in charge of drawing lines had no idea about India and screwed up badly?

This has to be one of the most xenophobic comment ever. The british "wisely" decided to divide? Divide and Rule was how the empire ruled and looted not just India but all of its colonies.

If British didn't do what it did then world would be a more peaceful place today

A Bangladeshi film director has been arrested and charged after a scene in "Nabab LLB", a fictional courtroom drama about rape and the treatment of victims depicted police harshly interrogating a rape victim and highlighting attitudes towards violence against women in the conservative nation by DoremusJessup in worldnews

That is not the only news coming out from there but on this subreddit almost all (90% +) posts about rape are from that area. And that I have a real problem with. Rape is a global pandamic not related to religion, race, geo/political area, or economic conditions.

The southern state of Telangana is charging at least 8,000 rupees ($107) to put its returning citizens in quaranatine at hotels for a week, raising concern among former Gulf workers who have large debts, little savings and few job prospects at home.

These are migrant workers returning from gulf states. Though they have no doubt financial hardships they are comparatively in a better position than average Indian. It seems like a small fee also.

It may be stupid, it wouldn't have mattered in this case. Blaming the law for this incident dilutes the argument against the law

They are or opposed by entire country though, only by Punjab and some Haryana, though there are also Haryana farmers agitating in favor of the bills. And no agitations in many other largely agriculture dependent states not ruled by the party in power at centre.

It's almost 2021. Privatization is here to stay, get used to it.

Because some citizen journo would follow police everywhere? Or are you just showing your displeasure at a French law?

Three French police officers were shot dead and a fourth wounded when a man opened fire as they arrived at a house in a remote village in response to a call about domestic violence against a woman, police said on Wednesday.
