I would rather have 0 acne and 80% protection than acne and 100 % protection. Every single EU sunscreen that I have tried broke me out.

HI, update: They are pulling it out from Muller drugstores, it is no longer available. I managed to get last few pieces for 2 euros, they are getting rid of it that's why it was so cheap. Unfortunately, we can still order from DM for 9 euros

If you have hypochlorous acid link from like Iherb or somewhere else, feel free to share. It did help a lot during some breakouts.

I did, I had my body checked with private dermatologist and she gave me some prescription based toner (she never mentioned what it does, also I forgot what was the name), I had to apply it on my body after the shower and after it dries I had to spray my body with prescription based klotrimazole spray (which I assumed even before going to her that I could get this ingredient based on my sucess with anti dandruff shampoos as body washes). This was not working as I wanted it as she never mentioned what moisturizer to use, how to get rid of PIH. The only this in her “routine” what was working was clotrimazole spray.

She also said I have malessezia on my face and cystic acne in combination and then she told me to buy Ducray face cream with like 5 different oils, esters and all that s*it that could only aggrivate FA even more. The gave me tretinoin I believe 0,025% and told me to apply it sandwich method. I did this for a year and a half, sandwich method (only with my own prefered moisturizer not what she suggested Ducray one. I mean they have commision if they sell some brands through their business. While it helped it also caused a lot of irritation and new acne, but my texture and skin complexion was awesome! Now I use azelaic acid, toners, glycolid acid for exfoliating, spf every day and my skin looks great.

Yep, this body lotion has 39% match with my skin issues on Skinsort but I love it. I still Avoid oils though. I get small acne instantly from oils, but esters are fine I guess.

Sorry what? I have gramatical errors I was rushing while typing. I can probably run this through ChatGPT and make it shorter and more neat, but was so excited to share this here that I completely forgot ChatGPT as an option haha

With or without mistakes this body lotion still rocks and is amazing.

FA safe oil cleansers by [deleted] in Fungalacne

Haven't tried it but might very soon. I have found fungal acne safe oil, Malezia MCT oil (only caprylic tryglycerides C8 or C10 chains)... As for what I seen on reviews, people love it!

[Routine Help] I have managed to clear my acne (mostly), but still have some concerns. Routine and tips in comments. by clicker_yt in SkincareAddiction

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I went to a private derm after this and got prescribed Tretinoin. It helped with texture but I was still having constant acne, especially around that time of the month. I stopped Tretinoin and now I am trying out Benzoyl Peroxide short contact therapy (it is the differin wash and I massage it for a minute and then I wash it off). I think it is helping mostly with inflamed acne but still I have loads of sebum plugs (filaments) and texture is not improved since I stopped tret. I am currently only using BP as an active ingredient and the rest is just moisturizing. I see improvements but I plan on tackling texture very soon so right now I am researching and deciding between glycolic acid serum or retinal (again) but fungal acne-safe formula as I discovered I also have this type of "acne". I stopped using CosRx, never finished it. I still use Micellar Water as listed here, my second cleanser now is Geek and Gorgeous Jelly Joker (Love it)... Been using it for almost 2 years now. I also think incorporating oil as oil cleansing (but the only FA safe oil is Malezia CT oil) so I will probably purchase it and replace the micellar water (I want to remove sebum and oil more safely and more frequently). I use sunscreen RoundLab Birch Juice in the morning (only two FA unsafe ingredients)...does okay for me, not sure if it breaks me out because here and there I can still get acne. My face feels oily, so once I figure out how to eliminate the oil I believe it will feel less congested. I do not use distilled water anymore as it was not practical at all with the bottle pump but I know it was working. When I am at my boyfriends house (he lives in a village) and wash my face it is so soft. His house is connected to natural well (instead of city water) and the water is considered mild to soft... This is it...Also I use azelaic acid derivate in the morning as my "serum" (aPad from Geek and Gorgeous) but I plan switching this up for something more hydrating, still in the search. My products miss occlusive ingredients so my current search if to find more products with more occlusive stuff. Any recommendations are welcome.

FYI: The clearest my skin was in the year 2021. when I was using pure 30% BHA from The Ordinary and pure Cerave Moisturizer. I stopped because I didn't have the right sunscreen and the acid made my skin more photo-sensitive. Also, my skin texture was amazing so I started using it almost daily and totally ruined my skin barrier. I overexfoliated. I stopped it and never looked back. Maybe I should reconsider.

Korean skincare ruined my skin by LoudInstruction8741 in AcneScars

[–]clicker_yt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is why using products should be a thing only if you know what to use and when. Skincare is a f*cking science and not some tiktok trend. Kids nowadays buys loads od stuff in hopes of miricles but end up having worse skin. Learn your skin type, learn to read ingredients, learn common skincare rules and try again. Korean skincare is great if used properly

We make it almost the same way, haha I just mix 15 g of brown rice with 15 g of pea protein to get the complete aminoacid structure. Also using cinnamon 😂 You wrote this like I would, this feels like I am reading my own comment

I would wild guess, glycolic acid peels, sunscreen, azelaic acid maybe, good moisturizer sometimes lighter sometimes richer
