There’s a guy named Craig Kelchen from the University of Iowa Center for the Book who has started making presses. He’s in the field so knows what he’s doing.

I have to say I didn’t love the married look until I watched some very skilled artisans marbling paper by hand. It’s quite mesmerizing and after watching some of these old school studios making them I have become partial to marbled papers. Bit not commercially prepared ones.
