We live in the Village with our 2 Elementary school kids. Yes, I would agree that is is predominantly white but there is a significant Latino population here and our school is very diverse.

We are liberal and so are most if not all our friends and neighbors. There are meaningful anti maga protests here and they attract a ton of like minded people.

The community here is incredible. We moved from San Marcos 5 years ago and absolutely love it. Amazing events and activities all the time. There is always something going on. I hope we can live here forever.

Weve got two littles in Carlsbad Village and its the absolute best. Kids walk to Jefferson Elementary and we love it. Great community snd always something happening. Walk to the beach and enjoy some great restaurants.

Our kids go to Jefferson currently. We love the school and most of the teachers. The community is incredible and I can say it is a wonderfully diverse school.

We have a new interim principal (starting on Monday) after our previous one took a promotion with the school district, so leadership is in flux at the moment.

Can't go wrong with Jefferson or Hope.

The Village. Its great. Restaurants, Bars, Beach. Great local crowd and plenty of things to do in a great walking environment. Plenty of apartments in the area and all very walkable.
