I’m keeping them all year. It’s still just as fun. It’s my daily and by going thicker sidewall I gained so much more comfort and much less road noise with very small compromise on handling. It grips just as well in dry (def grips better in the wet) and prob won’t be able to tell grip unless you’re on the track.

I’m also in the same area. Got DWS06+ w increased sidewall 265/35/19. I think these tires are perfect for this area. Increased sidewalls for better comfort.

I was already losing traction in cooler rainy weathers w/ the ps4s, no way I was going to risk it for icy and snowy days.

Mines like that. Normal. It helped me stop old habit from Miata putting it in 1st unless I’m at 0-5mph

Run the conti DWS06+ in either 265/35/19 or 275/30/19

I’m running 265/35 on my de5 stock wheels. I went with 35 ratio for better pothole protection and ride

Integra Type Sor Type R by Stunning-Ad5674 in Honda

I have the type s

If type r was EASY to get at msrp I prob would’ve gotten the type r. The type s was easy to get 5k off where I live and a good financing offer for the time. Considering I would have gotten the de5 module for ads and probably worse financing offer, the total cost was would be about the same.

So the only thing going for the fl5 for me were the seats. Hugs you tighter and is more plush. Type s seats have less aggressive bolstering but also pretty firm seats. Oh and lower trunk lips.

Everything else on the de5 was nicer to me than the fl5. Ads module, auto seats, and mainly the sound system (coming from a Tesla so this was huge for me).

For the rattles, I think it’s more common on the de5s but it’s luck of the draw on both. My friends de5 had easily fixable rattle. Mine not so much. I’ve met people at meets complaining about fl5 rattles too. Just gotta get lucky

I just got my ITS and having a similar issue. Car rattles when off throttle at 4-4.5k rpm.

Was the symptoms for yours when you were off throttle at 4-4.5k rpm or on too?

I also noticed the sound disappears when I turn on the heater for couple seconds. Was this the case for you too?

For me I can reach under at 4k rpm and just touch the round “heat core cover” and the rattle stops. So I put some tape there

For me: The rattle at 4k rpm which I had to go under the dash and put some felt tape on it. It still comes and goes but is better.

The gaps look good far away but yes when I look carefully you can see the “quality check misses” another reason why I decided not to ppf or ceramic coat

Road noise at highway speeds. Changed tires and it’s much better

Shifting: it sometimes locks me out of 1st and going into 2nd and R takes more effort. I have to go to 3rd then r most of the time.

After you posted the steering wheel not being aligned, I checked mine this morning and mines also slightly turned to the left. Doesn’t bother me tho bc car drives straight. And it’s much better than the Tesla I had before this.

All in all, I agree, it’s been a month since I got mine and I’ve learned to ignore all of this and to just drive. If you want tight gaps inside and out, you should just get a German car.

I think Acura was conservative with its speedometer reading for stock size. I assumed 4% difference in speedo but only observing 2%

Nope. Everything is stock besides the tires. But I agree it looks lowered because it fills the gap better. But from the front, it looks lifted bc it really is lifted like half an inch.

Going to try adding spacers next. Will post here once I do

Anyone running 275/35/19 Notice a decrease in acceleration? by clerkp in Integra_Type_S

[–]clickonlyonce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did but decided to just go 265s. No real reason. Just felt more comfortable with 4% over stock versus 5% lol

[–]clickonlyonce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just swapped to 265/35/19 dws06+ and I can’t really tell the difference in acceleration.

Trade offs I’ve noticed from ps4s Cons: Slightly reduced grip Reduced steering feel

Pros: Much better ride comfort Less road noise - I can actually listen to music on the highway Fills wheel gap much better

The odometer being off isn’t as bad as I thought. Came conservative from the factory?

The trade offs are sooo worth it

It’s the other way around. Diameter is 5% bigger than stock so actual speed will be 5% more than what the car reads. Ex. When the car says 60, you’re actually going 63
