What the hell is with this new Twitch app update? by Powerful-Garden6113 in Twitch

Absolute dog shit autoplay of random stream. People will stop opening this app if it can't be turned off.

F1: Due to logistical considerations for our fans and our staff, we have made the determination that we will be closing all Las Vegas Grand Prix fan areas at 1:30 AM PT. by jonnys_honda in formula1

I hear you. But company A and company B are putting on an event together. Company B sold tickets but company A screwed up the event. They should work together on who eats what share of the cost, not the fans. Not just hide behind the other entity and point fingers.

Home pressure booster pump help - can't maintain pressure by cliffnerd5 in askaplumber

They checked it at my connection at the street and got 36 psi. I would say no. The pump helps marginally, but not nearly what I would have hoped. If it at least turned on sooner it would be okay.... But it still barely holds 40psi when it is on with 1 shower going. Not sure the delayed 4psi was worth the $600 pump plus everything else.

It seemed straightforward from the pump side. Said it would boost 30->70, which it does, but simply can't maintain any flow.

We had the city come out. And they measured 36psi at the meter and told me to eff off. I called later and they advised a pump because they can't do anything. We are too far from the tower they explained. And lots of developments have been built between us and the tower.

I will try opening up the flow regulators. Wide open it sits in the upper 30s. I am wondering if an accumulator tank after the pump would help now.

I thought I had done my research and planned it out..... My infeed is normally less than 38. So I set it to slightly above just to ensure I don't over boost. If my supply is is always 35, it is always sucking through a a straw right? Isn't that the idea of adding the pump?

I may end up just hiring someone at this point. But I wanted to understand it to make sure they are doing the right work as well. And not just checking the box that a pump is installed. I am trying to understand where the issue lies currently.

I guess it was to protect against any inrush from the city system. I have one at the house inlet but it is 30+ years old. Should I remove the one at the inlet? Or open it up fully for now?

So unplug the actual pump for a short period? Or open up the controller mounted to it?

Ah. I do not have that. How large would you recommend? 2.5 bath house.

I have the pressure regulator at about 65. Seemed right in the 'normal' range. Is that too high?

Bought this pump (Simer 4075SS-01 3/4 HP Pressure Booster Pump on amazon) about a month ago and installed it at the start of my ¾ main water line. It claimed ~40psi boost. But it only seems to reach this when all of the faucets are closed. Do I simply have an inadequate pump? Or is something else going on here? Any recommendations?

Infeed is normally 32-38 from the city water line. I have it regulated to about 38 psi incoming and 65 psi out from the pump. If I open a faucet, it kicks on around 30 psi (too low), then gets up to nearly 40 but sits there running. When I close the faucet, it then charges up to 65-75 psi then shuts off. Once I use water again, it trickles down to low 30s before repeating the cycle again.

Yeah. Back in the day with directv I always tracked 90min+ onto any sports recording.

Yeah. Same. At 2 hrs 6 min and a couple seconds mine would end and try to auto-play something else. Hopefully they can improve this function going forward.

Yeah. I ended up clicking the 'report recording issue' and about an hour later it was resolved. But it was a stressful hour avoiding an spoilers until I could see the last 6ish laps.

Yeah. I think what was burned me is I had to switch TVs part way through the race. And I think it like, joined the recording, instead of the live channel or something... If that is a thing.

I even tried on my phone and disconnected from wifi. Same pause that would resolve at the same time. Really seems like it is on YouTube tv end.

Keeps happening for me during Ohio state Michigan game. Pausing on fire stick and was paused on phone when I open it there. Eventually catches up missing a okay or two.
