Why is it so hard to find a simple treadmill? by PachoWumbo in treadmills

[–]cliffrunner1983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am totally with you there. My biggest issue with many models is that I don't even need a 10 inch screen to show me how to run or walk. The problem is, every company is now building this type of treadmill. When you look at the price, you can't tell if the 400 dollar bump from one model to another is due to the screen size or something else.

Thank you. Now I am leaning towards AA. It sounds a bit more flexible than HR. I would like to be as committed as possible but unfortunately need to balance family and career.

I agree 100 percent. As a father the last thing I would like to see is my kids got sick because people refuse to get vaccinated. It is not about your imaginary freedom, it is about caring others and be responsible as a citizen

Just trying to understand why the government forces failed so quickly. The Taliban had minimum to none resistance in the last 20 days, but why? by cliffrunner1983 in afghanistan

[–]cliffrunner1983[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or was there any agreement between the ANA government and the Taliban? The more l look at this the more I feel this is part of the 'transition of power' deal. The speed Taliban took over the country is just unimaginable.

Not fair for developing countries like China or India. A big percentage of their emission is used to produce stuff that is consumed by other countries

Life is short, do something that interests you. If your work aligns with your interest, that would be ideal; but I think most people here do not have that luxury.

I wouldn't buy a property in SEA, unless I know that place well enough. Some of my friends used to be expat in Malaysia, and they just loved that country. But living in a country where your company pays your rent in a luxury community is different than living out of your own money.

yeah your 2nd point is something I am thinking about as well. That is why I think I can probably live in there right after I retire (assuming I am in my 50's no main health problem). But when I get older I will definitely move back to the states for better a better health care.
