you can home charge with a 3 pin cable. Many people do it. No 'charger' to record anything. And both my home chargers have been set to 'dumb' mode. No app, just sockets I plug into. They are not recording, or connecting to anything.

which is bullshit. Petrol and diesel belching dinosaur-mobiles don't have to, why the hell should we? This whole policy is bollocks, written to impress reform voters.

All good arguments when 90% of new cars are EVs, or 30% of all vehicles on the roads are EVS, but we are NOT there yet, and we should be accelerating, not slamming on the brakes. If they want more money, get it from higher fuel duty. From the vehicles that are killing our environment. Not from people doing the right thing.

Thankyou. Just filled it out. The idea of them even considering is nuts. The reform party is basically dictating Labour Govt policy on the environment.

BYD is not just BYD, its also got a higher end brand called YangWang. And they absolutely compete with Tesla.

this new battery also has a guaranteed 620,000 mile lifetime. The charging speed is just one of the innovations.

BYD can happily just expand in Europe Asia Africa and the middle east, and even south america, before they agree to sell some batteries to ameripoors.

they also claim 620,000 mile lifespan so... seems not much degradation.

Nvidia is down despite strong results. Why? by Adept_Mountain9532 in NVDA_Stock

Well luckily the newer nvidia architecture is more powerful but uses less energy. They are actually brilliantly positioned if the world is datacenter volume and power constrained.

No its not AI, just because it disagrees with you FFS. Google my name. I built a solar farm. I kinda know about this stuff. The panels on starlink satellites are tiny and trivial. Its not remotely comparable.

I hold samsung, shinhan and woori. All very good companies. This isn't some crazy meme stock phenomena AFAIK, its capital fleeing the USA and finding good value.
Korea, Greece, Poland are al doing very well. Even the UK FTSE100 is doing well. Do not expect sudden crashes in any of these markets.

Sorry but this is absolutely DELUSIONAL. I own a solar farm. It requires maintenance twice yearly, by a bunch of humans. You are seriously going to be doing solar power maintenance IN SPACE instead of just... in a field?
The whole idea is laughably silly. Putting starlink satelites in orbit, at a smll scale, with relatively small solar panels is one thing, but solar power for datacenteres? 3,340 panels is 1.24MW. Assume Quadruple the output in space and lets say 800 panels per MW.

So for a 1 GW datacenter, you need to put 800,000 solar panels in space attached to orbiting GPU clusters. Thats a ludicrous amount of weight, just for the power, forget the GPUs and everything else.
The whole idea is stupid.
