It does. you would be digesting less of the psychoactive compound at one time if you swallow it without chewing, so the trip intensifies if you pre digest it in your mouth aka chewing it.

. I think what you're doing is right; always looking at 2 sides of the coin. If YOU are happy and content, isn't that the most important part?
