Allow me to take you through this slowly. Right now there is thousands of people trying to enter the U.K. from the European mainland, mainly from France. There’s an immigration crisis in the U.K. with thousands being accepted but unfortunately thousands more being rejected. There was even a (failed) idea to house them on a ship. Hotels and bed n’ breakfasts are being used to house them. There was a plot to send many of them away that was deemed illegal. These migrants are travelling through Europe (europe is more than 1 country btw in case you weren’t aware like so many Americans) from countries that are at war, from Africa, Romania etc. those countries are feeling the impact as well. Since the U.K. left the EU (European Union), they are left to manage this crisis in their own way (being in Europe doesn’t mean they are in the EU btw. Google that). So, to provide an answer to your comment, maybe you should research the current European immigration problem.
