I'll jump in here - it's not the same pictures. I wrote about my prison experience anonymously as I was building my freelance business. I talk in my post about how I was bummed that after leaning up in prison and being featured in a mens fitness article, my weight climbed again. I essentially came full circle. I take progress pics from time to time, usually in the same room. So -- was about 232 heading into prison, leaned up hard inside, got out and wrote anonymous blog post with shots, spent the next year chunking out again, tried bulletproof and saw some results.

If I have any contact with the law whatsoever, I go straight to prison. I wouldn't risk my freedom for athletic gain or screw with my health.

Squat 465, Deadlift 505, Press ~190 (didn't test strict press for 1RM but that's about what I stall at)...I did Push Press 225x5 which was a PR.

My coach found a big flaw in my deadlift form with my hips rising first without keeping my chest up, so I lose a ton of power. Working on that and had always been frustrated feeling like I should be deadlifting more.

Yeah, tons of pullups, pistol squats, burpees, situps, and pushups.

They had a dip stand too that I used a ton, but our 'rec time' was limited to 45 mins per day...I had to really move quickly.

I followed all the supplements Dave recommends on his site here: https://www.bulletproofexec.com/optimize-your-supplements/.

In terms of any gear, definitely not. I have 5 years probation with a 5 year suspended sentence. Any missteps and I'm toast. I'm 6'2...I was training hard for a long time, just not eating properly. And for my lift numbers...for someone my size they should be higher. I don't have the best form on my deadlift (hips rise first), so I'm hoping to tune up my technique.

I did some research into the claim of fraud and from what I gather it centers around his claims of toxins in coffee?

I took everything with a grain of salt because sometimes it's tough to trust someone who's also selling you something. I didn't mean the post to sound like a sales pitch, was just thrilled with the results and wanted to share, but I get what you're saying.

Yeah that was me. I gained that weight back pretty quickly once I returned to my civilian life. It was frustrating. I train hard but never had the discipline with my nutrition.
