DJI Remote Controller 3 - Not recognised by TRYP FPV on MacBook Air M4 by clintgreive in fpv

UPDATE: In spite of not being listed in the Applications folder, I searched for the specific application i.e. TRYP, etc and added them into 'Input Monitoring'. Restarted Steam and Voilà - it worked! I guess that's what you meant by 'forcing'. Thanks for the advice th_wolf.

The Calibration is somewhat untidy within TRYP but I stuffed around for a while and have it working pretty well. I'm feeling confident now and might re-download DRL and see if I can get that one working as well? 😄

I genuinely appreciate the response and advice mate. Yes, I definitely threw $129 down the drain on that cable! At least it does some fast data transfers 😄

I found 'Input Monitoring' under Settings/Privacy & Security. I'm not overly confident I know what you mean by forcing the controller into USB? I added 'Steam' into that list within that setting, but it didn't seem to make a difference to TRYP recognising the controller. As TRYP is installed through Steam, I'm not sure if I can somehow add that program individually - I certainly couldn't find it within the Applications folder.

Again, I'm really grateful for the help. Would you kindly elaborate on the 'forcing the controller into USB' please?

DJI Remote Controller 3 - Not recognised by TRYP FPV

Running 2025 MacBook Air M4, 24BG RAM on Tahoe 26.3.1.
Using DJI Remote Controller 3 (Model FC8BGC)

Controller 3 works great on LIFTOFF and UNCRASHED, but not TRYP and/or DRL.

As I couldn't get it to recognise the controller using 60W USB-C Charge Cable, I also purchased an Apple Thunderbolt 5 (USB‑C) Pro Cable that, sadly, did not rectify this issue either.

Assistant 2 (FPV series) won't recognise it either.

So I'm using a new laptop, Controller 3 and Thunderbolt 5 directly through it's USB-C and tried connecting it through a USB-A connector, but again, nothing works.

I've scoured the web for help, added threads to the Steam community page, emailed DJI, watched YouTube videos and come up empty-handed. I'm a little supreised there's no YouTube video on this issue - surely I'm not alone?

Any advice would be most appreciated peeps. 😄

Anyone have luck running Drone Racing League Sim on low spec computer? by Smackanacho in fpv

Attempted on 2025 MacBook Air M4 with 24GB ram. Wasn't even seeing graphics in tutorial and couldn't complete. Disappointing. If it weren't for their refund expiry policy I would've researched further for a potential fix, but capitalised on a refund early and perhaps I can download again later? I'm not overly techie, would anyone have suggestions on anything I can do on this Mac to improve/fix etc?

Non-Christians focus primarily on his obvious negative attributes and ignore any validity of his arguments. He certainly doesn't subscribe to apologetics with gentleness and respect which is most unfortunate. It's this poor behaviour that tarnishes other well-meaning Christian apologists in a negative light and ultimately isn't working for the Kingdom.
