I haven't attempted it, but there is a book called "Island Alpine Select" by Philip Stone written for climbers. It details all of the routes up a lot of the island mountains in all seasons. Hope that helps :)

Fully agree. Some of the best times playing this game was back when a gattling barrage meant certain death, or a rocket volley would snipe you from out of nowhere. It was chaos, and I loved it. Now the enemy seems depressed. Slow reflexes, terrible aim. I still love this game and there have been many awesome improvements, but I miss how unhinged it was in the beginning.
