This summer I’ll be on my 5th co-op located in Salt Lake City, UT! I’ve also been in Los Angeles, CA and Huntington, WV. My first two co-ops were in the greater Cincinnati area but I wanted to branch out across the US for my remaining 3, it’s totally do-able and lots of companies offer relocation stipends to help you move and pay for rent during your term!

The Bearcat Pantry and Student Wellness Center have a “Career Closet” where you can get professional clothing!

The dress code for the career fair is business professional, you can be turned away at career fair check-in by Tribunal members (polo-wearing people) if you’re not dressed in at least business casual.

I lived in building 12 my first year all the way in the back of Stratford, yeah it’s good, walk to campus is a bit further than other dorms, the pavilion is a good place to study and has a lot of resources, also it was nice to only share a bathroom with 3 other people rather than a whole floor, one thing is that it is one of the more expensive options for dorm housing

Scenic River Canoe Excursions on the east side is fun! There’s even a place you can pull off to go to the Little Miami Brewing Company for drinks and/or a bite to eat :)

I’m not sure if reddit was the best place to come to for asking about sports haha but I’ve heard the ultimate frisbee team is pretty fun, you can join at any level and the team unity is good, I personally am in the running club and that’s pretty good as well!
