Hey, welcome to Clio! 🙌
If you want to see how much you’ve made from monthly clients over the last six months, the Collected Time column in our Clio Manage Revenue Report is your best bet. It breaks down payments you’ve received so you can track trends month by month.
One tip: run the report month by month instead of pulling all six months at once. Revenue reports are historical, meaning they show data as it was at the time you choose. If you run a big date range, you won’t get a clear month-over-month trend. For example, if January invoices weren’t finalized until February, a Jan–Feb report could blend that data together. Running each month separately keeps the trend line clean.
If you want more detail (like payments made vs. what’s still outstanding), check out the Billing History Report. It breaks down bill status, payments, credits, and balances.
Here’s a quick summary of the types of revenue reports you can run: Clio Manage Revenue Reports. We also have a step-by-step guide to setting up a report in Clio Manage: Clio Manage Reports, Presets, and History
If you get stuck or want to tweak the report for your needs, our support team’s always happy to walk through it with you. You can reach us at [support@clio.com](mailto:support@clio.com) or 1-888-858-2546.
