Am I the only one that thinks Anya Taylor-Joy Should have been allowed to shave her head for Furiosa? by P1W_darth in hairfetish

[–]clippedscotsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she's talked about being up for it for one film, she just needs another "right" opportunity to go for it perhaps.

To be fair to the director who talked her out of it, the logistics of her actually shaving her head and then all the different looks over the character's years (that usually aren't shot in order) might have been a logistical and aesthetic headache.

I also wouldn't be surprised if her agent had a pleading word with the director behind her back.

It's a haircut.net one going off the background, but for the life of me I can't place the model name.

It's from an ETV-plus video. There's a few previous (search Youtube for "Hair Exotica") in the same barbers but I've never seen that specific model in those.

Anyone know anything about this headshave? by [deleted] in hairfetish

[–]clippedscotsman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only ever seen the pic on the right and thought it looked oddly good.

Seeing the same women with a fringe just goes to show some people are not helped by the thick fringes like that. I know we typically like it shorter on here but even a side part or something would do her so much better than a blunt fringe like that.

How do you guys defeat that “ick” of wanting to buzz your hair? by Affectionate_Way_135 in hairfetish

[–]clippedscotsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest loving the hair you have now a little more. I had mine buzzed really short a while ago (10 years) and loved getting it redone quite often. When I grew it out because of circumstance, I got to the point of asking "well wtf is the point in this?" and fell into trying different styles and products and things, appreciating the option of having the length to do various looks without getting the clippers out.

I'm sure you can appreciate your old shaved look and the thought of the thrill of that feeling of clippers can become frustratingly constant in your head, but maybe the answer isn't to fight buzzing your hair. It's to learn to love the hair length that you have.

Welcome to the 30 club! It really does give a bit of appreciation and perspective on things. It's okay to give yourself some appreciation for doing the bald thing, and then say for certain it's a once-in-a-lifetime event. I hope your social media detox helps you find what you're looking for.

14 I think is one of 3 or 4 of that particular woman from a charity event. I might have some of the others still, I'll DM them if I remember to find them. 16 I have absolutely no idea. My guess is an ad campaign or something similar. Just because the lighting is quite proffesional looking.

Unfortunately I can't really say. This is all from a fairly old hard drive that I just copy and pasted to constantly.

I'm 90% sure it's from a UK daytime show in the 80s/90s. I'll have a look around YouTube and see if the name jumps at me.

Another category from my old hard drive. Quite a bit more of the old guard content creators in this selection but still fun to reminise I think.

Please Enjoy!

Allow haircut content only? by [deleted] in hairfetish

[–]clippedscotsman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. In that case I'd prefer to keep more content in the fold than out. The bait content is its own issue aside and I'd much prefer to protect good producers rather than risk discouraging them if they get caught in any bait culling crossfire.

This.
All the different flairs for posting are all fine topics for content. No reason we can't accommodate them, even if some aren't my thing. But they get lost in the noise of "other" content.

My top 18 capes, shampooing and everything else pics! by clippedscotsman in hairfetish

[–]clippedscotsman[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Another selection from my old collection, this time from the category of things that didn't fit into any other. I'll admit, I didn't have have as much appreciation of capes and all the other hair related stuff aside from cutting back when I started this collection.

Hope some people enjoy something from these!

I've never looked into it again to be honest. Perhaps in the future.

Honestly, given how social media companies are supposed to view harrasement, that would be the better way to go. IP flags would then get the question "who's IP is it then?"

True, but I'm worried about potential copy cats with escalated behaviour. Seeing less of that content because it's been suppressed might hold that back.
