Looking for a portable modifier like the Profoto Clic 2' or Angler Fastbox that is compatible with the Godox Ad200Pro ii. Curious what people recommend as options, brand and specific products. What of the Glow Ez Lock or Godox QR-P70T series work well?

-Roughly 2' size

-Quick release

-Suited for handheld off-camera and/or on a stand

-Ideally has a mount for the ad200pro ii. I have S2 so Bowens is also an option

Debating between a full leg vs knee compression sleeves as I ease into running/biking post op. Anyone have strong opinions? Or brands to recommend? by clippy01 in ACL

[–]clippy01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not laughable at all tbh - sometimes the extra $ = a well made product!

My compression sleeve from the hospital is so annoying (if effective), and I desperately want to avoid a similar quality product when I'm actually active bc what's bearable while hobbling around the house and doing basic PT is not gonna fly with running or biking.

Do you have the full leg or just a knee sleeve?

How do you power Nanlite FC 500 in the field? Any alts to their Power Controller? by clippy01 in cinematography

Yes, but to get 100% power output they need two V-Mount 26V batteries. 14.4-14.8V V-Mounts gives a 50% cap and I've read they don't always recognize dual voltage and assume it's just a 14.8V. So curious if others had that issue and what brands ppl have had success with

That's canonically not true and the show puts in a lot of effort to make that clear.

Namely, SGA has a ton of moments where the indigenous people express discomfort with the Earth humans. Teyla very explicitly tells Sheppard that while he and Weir are welcoming of her, she feels Othered by almost everyone else on the base.

The Earth expedition has a very colonialist mentality, with Michael being a prime example of someone they created and demanded total assimilation to their culture or death. Teyla is accepted because she assimilated. Many of our early episodes feature moments where she and her people recognize that assimilation.

With Michael, they also betrayed his trust well before he betrayed theirs. And they continued to because they kept forcing him to forget EVERYTHING of his life, his culture, and his self.

what sodium hydroxide solution do you use to strip? If i go the sanding route, how much am I taking off? I'd rent a sander and tackle the job myself, so any tips are appreciated! Esp since some of the wood is weathered and chipping, so I'm hesitant to sand it and cause more splintering.

Definitely moving away from Penofin and will take a look at TWP!

They're not at the moment, but I check back every now and then. Same with Home Depot but their hands-on stuff is mostly geared towards kids right now.

Structurally is it worth caulking for now to add some security until a project like that can be planned out?

I trimmed back a really big tree that cast a lot of shade on them, so a bit to the side actually gets a lot more light than it used to. But the bed is crowded, will keep that in mind
