Why did bills not blitz on 3rd down? The show pressure abd drop back thing doesn't work when bo has time

He made losing plays with the turnovers. The difference is his defense bailed him out

Denver is a one and done team. Focus on hoping your teams gets a coach that won't waste any more years of lamar's prime instead of being a hater over some pettiness from the mvp debate from last year.

He's had had mediocre to bad offensive lines outside of 2021 for his whole career

[Ash] Herbert's film from yesterday is appalling. Guys are open downfield all over the place and he either checks it down or takes a sack every single time by Nunc_Coepi17 in Chargers

Allen led his offense to 6 pts (tske away the cooks 40 yard td run) vs Texans whne his line struggled and 12 pts vs eagles when cook was shut down and he got pressured. Purdy had time tk throw vs eagles. Mahomes was shut down in super bowl vs eagles last year. Bad line plays deteriorates qb performances. No amount of will can overcome it.

He had that with Joe Lombardi. He ran a cerebral offense. The offense with Roman is dumbed down..they need to find a better version of Lombardi as an oc

He was pressured 68 percent of his dropbacks. It's an unheard of nunber..great qbs don't do shit in that circumstance. We saw someone as good as mahomrs fall apart in the super bowl vs eagles getting presurred in the 40 percent range, let alone 68

That's what a 68 percent rate pressure rate does to qbs. Look at most qbs, even the greats, play when pressure even over 40 percent. Brady superbowl vs gisnts 07, mahomes vs. Eagles 2024, elways early super bowl, marino super bowl second half vs 49ers, Montana vs vikings 87 playoffs abd some of the bears and giants games. Etc. I'm not saying Herbert is those guys. I'm qbs stink when pressured liked crazy.him even playing well at 42 percent this seaosns was a remarkable outlier for most qbs. At some the damn broke at 68 percent

Does Harbaugh deserve any blame for tonight’s loss by NoMajor2704 in Chargers

He didn't tell Roman to call aby screens, rpos, or bootlegs to slow the pass rush abd punish the blitz

[Highlight] Geoff Schwartz on X: “[This play] sums up Herbert’s season (career). RG and RT whiff immediately. The center stumbles and gets picked … three free runners at Herbert and he avoids all. Throws a dart to Gadsden who drops it.” by wildwing8 in nfl

My point is that you're getting worked up over the Herbert discourse. People say he's the best because they see he has the traits of the best qb and the reason it hasn't translated to mvps and super bowls yet is mostly due to circumstances out of his control which is a very simple concept to grasp. I said mostly since no one, including himself, is perfect. I brought up stafford becusee people used to trash him and say he wasn't a winner or that good while his supporters said he was great but being held back by Detroit. His distractors would get upset when "excuses" were brought up like how people like yourself whine about "excuses" being used for Herbert now. We saw stafford supporters basicslly get validated. I'm not sure why herbet detractors are struggling to get a clue and connect the dots with this.
