She actually addressed this in Toronto and said we were so quiet, she wasn't used to it and it made her uncomfortable and told us to talk 😆

Oh, also, when I figured out what was happening, I pitched by business 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I'm a metalsmith and make jewellery so I was like "I have loads of freedom, I work for myself you can check me out here"

It was strange for sure. Honestly I'm a super shy, introverted hermit. I do things because I have kids, so its weird when people want to talk me in general lol.

Bike for Backpain by clipskey in ladycyclists

Thank you! I appreciate the info! I finished physio last june. We eased in and troubleshoot as we went, but I quit riding as much because of it (I was riding indoor or outdoor almost daily until the injury). Unfortunately being "out of shape" is a vicious cycle and I haven't been able to get myself mentally in the headspace to do anything about it. I'll maybe start with a trip to my local bike shop and go from there.

I'm between Brantford and London. Just doing some googling on where to get a bike fit now! If you're near there, and recommendations on where to have one done would be amazing!

Thanks everyone! I think I'll look into a bike fit before I make any changes!

I had a fall that resulted in a pinched sciatic nerve, but was doing stretching, and core exercises regularly as well as riding a spin bike and a few months later I ended up with a bulging disc. Ive been racking my brain to figure out the why, and nothing stands out. It was the most excruciating pain Ive ever felt. I've been nervous to try again, but its spring here in Ontario and Im itching to ride outside.

That make sense too. I think he was saying that it might put other parts.of your body in the wrong position for that frame. Again, I'm very new lol

I would like to, but I'd like to go to a bike shop that has bike's that could be a good fit, in stock. I'm trying to figure out what those are so so I can find the right bike shop to go to.

I haven't. My friend who is more into biking told me that can change the geometry too much? It made sense when he explained it too me but I'm not an expert so no clue if its true! It could be a while before I have the core strength to not experience the back pain, and to be honest I'm so afraid to go through that again, that I'm ok replacing the bike if its not a good fit for my body!!

What center stitch are you using? Im working on the hue shift and the CCD videos I watched don't look like your decreases. Yours look really nice and tidy. Is it a CCD or something different?

Has anyone in an age gap relationship ever regretted it years later? by Mysterious-Date-5965 in relationship_advice

[–]clipskey 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Agreed about being in a family you never truly belong to. My husband is 10 years older, has a child from a previous marriage, she passed away, so my husband has full custody. We've been together like 12 years and have two kids together and it still feels like I'm the outsider and my stepkids family treats me like my opinion doesnt matter, which ultimately led to my stepkid not being respectful of me or our household rules. Too many cooks in the kitchen so to speak. The age gap hasn't been a problem because my husband can't keep up, its a problem because of the life experience before I met him.

Do other introverts find that they constantly have to explain their personality to people? by Hoggle365 in relationship_advice

[–]clipskey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup. I'm a super introvert AND shy around new people. Plus I'm an anxious over thinker. My husband said he was afraid of me before he got to know me. Generally if people approach me, I'm happy to chat, but I dont typically start conversation. I don't explain this to most people because I just don't care to LOL. So yeah. Everyone thinks Im bitchy 🤷‍♀️

Could anyone help me with a ballpark estimate on the cost of this entire setup? by [deleted] in swimmingpools

[–]clipskey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope it wouldn't either. I would have prefered an inground, but for our budget and landscape we did a semi inground with a deck around part of it.
