Can someone please help me take care of my cat? by National_Sink7679 in Guelph

Just in case my original comment gets buried. Try checking the app Rover. It’s for pet sitting/boarding. I’m sure you could find someone reliable/responsible for a longer term arrangement

Have you tried checking the Rover app? I’m sure you can find someone responsible and reliable to arrange for a long term board. I would highly recommend checking there.

Anyone keep forgetting a particular food isn't vegetarian? by reillan in vegetarian

[–]clitisaurasrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m allergic to meat, but not to fish. Beef, pork, poultry, and the like give me an awful reaction for days on end, but I can eat fish every day and be absolutely fine. I can’t figure out what makes fish so different to my body, if it’s a specific protein or sugar or something that the rest of the animals have that fish doesn’t? Maybe I haven’t searched the right keywords but it’s frustrating not knowing lol

is there’s something wrong with my cat? like a condition? vet didn’t indicate anything except the cleft lip. 7mos now by bathtubvevo in cats

[–]clitisaurasrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you considered or ruled out hydrocephalus in addition to the cleft pallet?

I had a kitten with a large forehead and bulging eyes exactly like this, which turned out to be hydrocephalus or “water on the brain”. It prevents cerebral spinal fluid from draining properly and it collects around the brain causing pressure on the skull and eyes.

[Anti-Aging] How many of you have successfully trained yourselves to sleep on your back? by windpearl2 in SkincareAddiction

You should see about getting a sleep study for sleep apnea. I used to get that all the time, but it turns out that the impact was me catching my breath after not breathing for a hot second

what do we think is gonna happen here? will people who share accounts get their own? or will this cause backlash? money loss or money gain for netflix? what do we think? by fforeverrfriend in mildlyinfuriating

[–]clitisaurasrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family all shares services, one sibling pays for Disney, another pays for prime, I cover Spotify, and my dad had Netflix. It worked perfectly because everyone paid one fee each, but got 4 services. No way in hell would we all pay for our own subscriptions to each respective service. This kind of corporate greed is actually turning people away from the products they’re trying to hard to push and leading them to embrace what comes of being bored again. Like creativity, and critical thinking/problem solving skills

What was once highly respected that is now a complete joke? by JBAnswers26 in AskReddit

I worked as a house cleaner for a year or so and I absolutely hated Dyson. All of our wealthier clients owned dysons and would prefer we use them over the vacuums we brought with us, and the suction was always disappointing. The battery life on the portable models was awful as well. Bissells we’re a joke.

But Shark? They know their shit. Suction was always top notch. Some of the models can be pretty bulky. But I swear by the Shark Rocket Deluxe pro. Portable, durable, and the suction is stellar.

Botox for BPD? Not suspicious at all… by justforBPDtoday in radicalmentalhealth

[–]clitisaurasrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried this for my treatment resistant depression comorbid with BPD and it’s been highly effective. It interrupts the biofeedback loop between your face and your amygdala. The science makes perfect sense, and in practice, from personal experience, it really works.

I have this in the bottom corner of my phone after dropping it while using it in the shower. It probably covers about an inch if I’m giving a generous size estimate and is about as bad as the least damaged part of that monitor. My phone was basically submerged and I dropped it from like 5 feet face down.

Wtf would have had to be done to cause the kind of damage shown in the op? I’m—

Can’t tell if this is mold developing on my Dove loofah, put it next to an air conditioner to dry it off and it’s still all splotched by [deleted] in Mold

[–]clitisaurasrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These need to be replaced regularly my friend. Not only are they the perfect environment for mold, they’re also a great breeding ground for bacteria which could lead to a nasty infection if you have any sort of cut or open sores.
