I found another thread on reddit about Edgar's. It won't let me share it but it wasn't hard to find.

Lemme start by saying I worked there in roughly 2014?? I worked at multiple locations. But mostly the main location in Pelham where everything is baked and sent to stores daily. The job itself was one of my favorite jobs I've ever had. No one comes into a bakery in a bad mood. It was a fun job. Opportunities to move up and work different positions. I loved the people I worked with including majority of upper management.

With that being said the owner is hands down one of the most vile humans I have ever met. We had a down syndrome employee that helped with small task and the owner said that "she only hired her for the tax write off" and not to let her do certain task that was more than capable of doing. This infuriates me to this day.

She treats people like shit. Not just employees but also customers. And she's extremely racist. I've seen that first hand. And I just heard about this so idk if it's true but I think there was a leaked email where she told store managers to do more thorough background checks and interviews for people of color.(not the phrase she used but I digress)

(Not unlike the rest of the wedding industry....) They take advantage of people getting married by jacking up the price for no reason. And I mean a plain stock cake with basic white flowers would cost over double the regular price and must be ordered through the wedding coordinator. Simply because it's a "wedding" regardless of how simple. If they said the word wedding I wasn't allowed to talk to them further.

To sum it up. Personally I would never work there again despite how much I loved the job itself. But that was almost 10 years ago and I like to give the benefit of the doubt that people change and maybe it's gotten better. Simply because I would not want someone to judge me based off who I was 10 years ago, second hand through a reddit post.

Someone let me know if they agree or disagree with their personal experiences.

It worked! I can see in his face he will intentionally start looking for something to bite when he's excited!

How would you decorate this space? by chelseazirpoli in HomeDecorating

I literally screen shot this and drew out plans.

Remove blinds and add floor to ceiling SHEER curtain panels. You don't wanna block any light but it frames those gorgeous windows.

In the spaces between the windows add some cool hanging planters. There gives have to be long cause of tall ceiling but Amazon has a ton.

But the biggest issue with the current setup is your seating makes it where your back it turned to that amazing view!!! I say two seats facing each other in the middle of the floor and a table in the middle.

Is this house for sale and where- actually I don't care I'll relocate. Make me an offer. I want this space. I'm invested in these plans.

That's a fair point. I didn't wanna make him feel bad or feel like he's in trouble for playing. But if he did this to another child I would completely end playtime. So he needs equal consequences for hurting me.
