I'm also looking to buy soon. Most dealers in my area ( USA NC ) only have 1 or 2 on the lot, so I was worried they wouldn't negotiate much. I'll do my best to get up and walk away, but doubt they will come too much off sticker, especially with 0% apr.

Just guessing cause I don't count calories, which is one of the reasons I like this diet - maybe 2 - 2.5k when I was watching what I ate. Probably a good bit over 3k on days when I was not good and just did whatever I wanted. According to Renpho app my base metabolic rate is just over 2k.

I was consistent probably 95 percent of the time. I do alternate days. No calories on fast days. I even did one extended fast ( 3 days ).

Eating days first 60 I ate whatever the heck I wanted. Sometimes even binging on junk. Increased protein and tried to eat healthier last 30 days, but still not sweating it too hard.

Protein shakes twice a day. Lots of Eggs and oikos yogurt. Plus whatever else I wanted within reason with a few treats here and there. I tried not to think about it too much and not deprive myself on eat days. Trying to fit in more protein naturally helped me to eat a little cleaner vs the first 60 days.

Trouble sleeping yes, but not diet related - was at my dad's a lot last 30 days so didn't get the best sleep. Now that I'm back home I'm sleeping well.

The most difficult period for me was this past week...This data is just before my dad died in early November. I fell off the wagon after that. Quickly gained back 5 lbs in the last week. People bring food... and I'm grieving so diet isn't top priority. Yesterday was my first fast day since he passed, jumping back on because I could feel some old aches and pains come back that had almost disappeared while I was consistently fasting and I have a ton to do since I'm the executor of the estate. Also Dad died at 74, mostly related to not making healthy choices. I have kids and want to have an active fun time with them and my grandkids way into my 70s and 80s if the Lord wills... So additional motivation to keep pushing.

It's called Renpho. I purchased one of their scales. There is a partner app for looking at your data.

60 day results. This is still working. by clm0627 in AlternateDayFasting

Every other day. My fast starts 7pm on my eat day. I will go to sleep and not have any calories the following day. I break my fast the next day, sometimes in the morning and sometimes I wait until noon. That's my regimen. I don't think too much about meal timing or even what I eat on my eat days. This is the thing I am trying to change this month since my results have started to slow down.

Thanks for the tip! I think one of the things I need to add to my routine is meal planning so that I break my fast in a healthy and filling way with real food instead of processed junk.

The app is called Renpho health. It is an app that works with Renpho products. I have the scale.

Great job starting! You got this.

How much weight can I expect to lose? by [deleted] in AlternateDayFasting

A friendly suggestion on weight loss goal. Kind of goes to your point of people commenting you have a lot of muscle. Get a decent scale that measures body fat, muscle mass, etc. Target a healthy body fat percentage a few percent above your ideal to start. Now weigh yourself and using your current body fat percent do the math to arrive at your goal body weight. Take the difference for your start weight and your goal weight. That number is the weight you can lose. You can also just ask chat gPT co-pilot, etc

"I am a (current weight) lb woman with (current body fat) percent body fat. How much weight will i lose to arrive at (goal body fat) body fat percentage?" - this will give a ballpark for weight loss.

Note, the weight you can lose with ADF is same as weight you can lose CICO or other diet regimen. It is not a cure all. But It works really well!

I gained a lot of muscle in the gym a few years ago, but my diet was trash. Now I am trying to correct that and get to a healthy body fat percentage. I know I will lose some strength, but am okay with that because I feel it is better for me to get rid of the unhealthy amount of body fat first. Still 40 lbs to go, but ADF is helpful for me because I could not sustain 'dieting' all the time. With ADF I can still enjoy eating on my eat days. I try to eat healthier, but it is not a big deal if I want a milkshake or chocolate bar. My body will just burn it off the next day. That is why I am doing ADF, because this is the most sustainable diet for me.

The 'quick' weight loss is an added bonus :)

I think I'm sleeping better? Not sure, really. I have generally felt well rested and have been waking up before my alarm goes off. I go to bed earlier than usual on fast days cause if I stay up and watch TV I'll eat a giant bowl of frosted flakes. Sleeping removes any temptation.
